Heather & Dave lovely couple on TH-cam who adopt people same as me! What’s left of mine is dead to me for what was done but I’ve always had a loving family of choice that grows all the time😊. That grey sweater w/ gussets is gorge! The stitching is created using a serger, stretch & it becomes a “lettuce” hem. Back in the late 70s-early 80s we called ourselves “dark glam”, the media created “Goth”, it stuck tho I prefer the former. I wish I could knit again (knitted blankets for local animal shelter every year until I was assaulted😢); Louise is an ace knitter, the scalloped bottom pattern is called feather & fan. Used to knit dishcloths to match friend’s kitchens out of cotton as it cleans well cos of the texture. That sideboard is early-mid 19thC, stunning! Dave your art… oh I always say how talented you are😊. Love the mural, w/ the 2 paintings it looked Monet-ish to me but loved it all, kitchen as well! With 💚Jet 😘💚♻️ PS just finished fixing a lovely 50s MCM tray I’m going to use to hold the tarot & oracle decks I use frequently. Got the blobs of paint, glue rings off, fixed the black wood grain w/ thin tip sharpie, looks new!♻️🌍

Hi Guys ! I used to have a huge sweater collection.I have purged most of them with some regret.Some were beautiful Italian floral sweaters,that they don't make anymore. That was perfect!❤ Standout to me were The knit geometric shapes sweater Heather said reminded her of a sweater her grandmother would have knitted! That long gray cardigan with all the black yarn squiggly details and the way it looked layered OVER the skirts! Looked like it was meant to be! That sweater requires the fullest of full skirts underneath!

Dave that peony painting! I have over 20 ft of peonies but rarely get any to display as creeps cut them😢, you’re so talented & no not everyone can do that! Heather, I always said I have organised chaos since a kid. Recently found out if you have ADHD the psychology books are now calling it that, wild eh? The white collar things are called collar stays, I kinda like them even tho I wear collared shirts up (I’m weird🤪). Love the room, looks fab! Sadly will only thrift for necessities as we’ll be moving overseas & need to sell, gift far too much; but I get to start all over again! Oh I keep forgetting your dog is so lovely, miss my Westie Fiona ever so😢, but have my sweet kitties thankfully. Know there’s more but 😴, keep being your unique selves, with 💚, Jet 🧡🎸🎶⚡️🤘🦋♻️🌍 PS twice a week yippee!

Loved this video & peek into the fashion house. Dave your floral paintings on the wall are breathtakingly realistic & beautiful. You crack me up when you say “anyone can do this”. You would have been a fabulous teacher & your students were blessed to have such an encouraging , positive, talented educator. Charlie Brown’s friend Pig-Pen was surrounded by a cloud of dust but Dave your aura is colorful rainbows. I only wish I could see color as you do. Your up cycle projects are so special . Heather the 50 lb dress was giving me ceremonial Moroccan vibes. I agree it seems like a dancing dress. You look good in every combination you can imagine. Thanks for the joy.
