What is a trove?

Hi Barbara. I ventured out to the grocery store and it is very cold and windy here. The wind blows the snow back on the road where there are open fields. I was anxious to get back and sit down and see if you started the Trove. OMG, it looks so good. I wish my yarn would hurry up and get here so I can start mine. Hope you’re having a good day.

Have fun knitting. Today is a kitchen cleaning day for me. I did manage a little crochet this morning before I got started. Maybe we will get enough snow here in OH to have to stay home and craft for a few days. Here’s hoping! lol

Sitting here drinking tea and knitting on my Alpenglow sleeve. It is snowing here off and on. Sometimes it looks like a blizzard outside. Hope you get some time to work on your sweater too.

We watched the new Vera last night too. Did you know Brenda Blethyn is 78?!?!!! I'll miss her so much. Watched all her videos many times.

My granddaughter goes back to school on Monday. She is hoping for snow so vacation is extended. 😂

I hope and pray that both of us have a great 2025. 2024 was not great as we both know. I am improving, but have a cold now. Just got the medicine today. My voice is a whisper, I cough otherwise. I’m so excited to participate and knit a Trove. My yarn will probably not come until next week as my LYS is closes until January 7th. It will be fun to see all the different sweaters we create. Happy New Year! 🎊 🎉

I'm almost halfway through knitting a scarf for a hat/scarf set, so I'll use that for a knit along. I wanted to do a sweater, but I'm on a yarn diet and I don't have enough of anything to do a sweater.

I can't believe that I've been to a US state that you haven't! We enjoyed New Orleans - it was quite eye-opening and the food was amazing. That sounds like a great trip you have planned xx

Geraldine McEwan also was a famed "Miss Jean Brodie" back in the day (although she's no Maggie Smith!). Mapp and Lucia was filmed about 10 miles away from where I live - Rye is a very pretty old town. xx
