What are your current level and equipments? apparently I can hear the sound of her getting damaged, i have Flame grant me strength, fire and incantation boosting talismans equipped, and used all my flasks for FP but still not enough to kill her, if you could answer that would be very helpful
@shadowknight8523 got intelligence capped at 80 as not much point after that maybe you can use marvel tear and restat from rennala.

Bro…. Do you not have the longer bow range talisman? It makes it far easier to farm the bird, because you can just aim at the small V-shaped opening between the two big branches and then hit the bird perfectly.
@datwitchyswordfan probably, I don't use bows but would be interested to give it more of a go seems fun could play like my skyrim character lol.

snake was such a bad ass that he ran thru sniper gunfire and just beat the shit out of the sniper, then he ran back to Meryl, ripped his shirt off and his muscles and abs expanded like Toguro from YYH and he carried Meryl off the base while everything exploded
This is insane! I love how Sniper Wolf still tries to shoot you, despite the glitch. I'd of figured the game wouldn't know what to do at that point.
One of the greatest moments.
My thoughts: Sniper wolf is programmed to instantly shoot you with 100% accuracy if you don't have the sniper rifle equipped. This is to prevent you from rushing the hallway. Once the sniper rifle is equipped, her speed drops and she begins acting like the boss fight. Ergo, by glitching the sniper rifle into your hands and being able to still walk, the game assumes you are lying prone, so she stops gatekeeping the hall.
You know what? I'm impressed that the AI doesn't just completely shit the bed when you get this glitch. So many games, impossible states like this just break the game completely. It is a testament to the technical team that the enemy AI isn't just script to do one thing. It tries its best to fight even when this definitely should never have happened.

@guy38853 it was odd. Normally, she doesn't do that, but I messed up on the way up.

Question, unless im mistaken, i am pretty sure you already have key card 6 at this point, can you do the glitch, then just skip the fight all together leaving wolf to just sit there the whole time in sniper position so wolf never dies? My boy Otacon deserves to keep his woman. Make little baby sniper geniuses.

There are many hidden dialogue or scene in it, just like MGS2 (Johnny from MGS1 is in it for example)

@@johnsantos507 During the mission to save Richard Ames in the Big Shell Core 1 instead of eavesdropping the conversation between Solidus, Ocelot and Olga, you need to use the directional microphone on a door on the far left side. Johnny is on the WC because of his diarrhea. Second appearance is when Emma is trying to cross the bridge before Vamp take her hostage, same use the microphone, johnny will meet Emma before leaving her because of his diarrhea. (urrrggh not again)

I underestimate how good at playing games I was as a kid. I saw all this, so the amount of time I put into this game is scary to think about. Good ol' days.

They have to be simultaneously be the smartest and dumbest goons ever. They took the time to steal some stealth suits and could have easily shot Snake to smithereens like Murphy at the start of Robocop. Snake would have been like, “NAH!!! NAh-Naah-naahh…” and then Colonel Campbell would have been on the codec screaming, “SNNNNNAAAAKKKKEEE!!!!”
My headcannon is that they were following Snake for a while, but were waiting for Snake to be isolated. They were just waiting for the signal to strike when they realized that Snake had actually figured out their trick.

I thought it was quite well done in this case. You realize what's happening at the same time Snake does, and that's when the tense music starts up; really kind of a great little moment in the game.
Yes the suspense was well done and everything that doesn't stop it from being over the top, like Otacon sharing his thoughts just as Snake rides the thing and the goons calling out Snake before trying to fight him.
Can you do this anytime in the game you are at this vent.

@cv2895 no but you can beat her with meryl still on the ground but the same cutscene when snake is captured will play and meryl dissapears.
She is too awesome of a villain to die this way… if you beat the game this way then you don’t deserve to call yourself snake..
Cry about it simp, snipers suck in video games and her boss fights are terrible. I will always use the nikita missiles to cheese her 2nd fight and this glitch from now on for the 1st, cope and seethe 😁
