I don’t think this is Fayetteville NC. Maybe Fayetteville Arkansas. I’ve never seen Donnie Moran or davey Johnson come to Fayetteville nc. I’ve seen em come to gaffney. Not to see any of the locals either is weird as well like Jimmie edwards, hank edwards, and Ed gibbons.

The very first time I ever drove a racecar was at County Line in 1989, I was 17 it was a super street car that was the worst handling car I ever had. I usually finished 5th, 7th, I did win one heat race my first year. 1990 I built an excellent car and only ran 200 lap races until 2000

im 14 years old and im starting out at clarys ( halifax) and so far its been a fun time!

We had went close to christmas and that was awesome especially at at night and they had all the lights and all lit up and had a fire at the club house at the top

Wow love the early 2000’s footage, if you got anymore home video like this from Hagerstown I’d love to see it and you should definitely upload it. I live 15 minutes from the track in Greencastle and been going here since I was 4 years old, love this place and the history. Ya know, with when this video was recorded, during 2001 Octoberfest, it kinda makes me wonder...did dirt track racing feel any different or more meaningful in the months and few years following September 11th. I bet a lot of the teams there that day at Hagerstown were just ready to get through the weekend (of course I know also how frigid cold it used to be for Octoberfest, went to the 2007 running of the race) and close out what had become a rollercoaster season obviously with everything going on with what had just gone down in New York and Washington, and then with the initial talks of us going to war.

I'm one of those that you give me tickets to a Nascar race and tell me I could meet every driver or they are running a big paying race at the local dirt track ( 2000 dollars is big enough for me ) I'll pick that dirt track Everytime
