All textured hair doesn’t stay wet for a long time. That depends on the porosity. By the looks of her hair, it may not be low porosity. Also, we only wrap the hair when it’s straight. Lastly, that young lady’s hair needs a totally different regimen than the one your talking about. Loose hair like hers and very coily hair need different things. In order to be of good service to us and our hair I would recommend watching more videos and/or going to a hair school that specializes in textured hair. There’s a lot that you said and did that doesn’t apply to that particular hair type you’re washing in the video. So, learn about porosity, curl pattern, texture, and strands. You’d need to be more delicate with finer strands. Then learn about when to use milks, butters, leave in conditioner, and gels; and understand the real reason for deep conditioner and the type of hair that could benefit more from that process. I only say these things if you’re really interested in doing more textured hair. The more you know and show on your channel the more clientele, I’m sure. But this is a good start. You’re doing great. Oh, and learn how to do twist outs and wash and go’s, if you haven’t already. Learn the “why” behind what you’re doing so you can be a better teacher for the ladies there.
