Doesn't look windy and the landing looked smooth to me. Try landing at Chicago Midway Airport once. You'll find out what firm is really like.

Hey everybody, I had 5 flights the previous month and this landing in Bari felt very rough in person. I guess it is not as close as “HARD”but this is the hardest i have felt. Also video can not represent the real forces, it looks fine because of amazing camera stabilisation but in person i was shaking the whole approach. Sorry for the article.

It is not actually something bad to applaud them. Even though this is their job, your life is in their hands throughout the whole journey, in the bus, taxi, airplane, it does not matter. Some applause won't hurt anybody, and this airport requires more skill for a safe landing to the short runway. We are not in Luton or in Memmingen. Stay positive 🏝️
