Brand New Project: Antique Secretary Part 1
Hello from Porter, Texas. I will definitely visit your store soon.
To make them look really authentic, make them with plaster of Paris. Hugs.
Lovely! I'm planning to do copper in our green bathroom
Exactly the instruction I needed for the rolling pin I was working on. I wasn’t sure how to seal after I put crackle on and my rub on transfers. Thank you.
Lighting is too bright. I can't see the paint.
As stated before - sorry for the bad lighting. There is a newer video you can see better in.
I'm in Willis like 25-30 minutes from you! I got a wine box on Whatnot, so wanted to see what you did with them. I'll comment after the video, but just wanted to say hi, just found your channel, and like it already ❤❤❤
Very pretty ideas! However, I was hoping to see a few painted and the imprinted labels covered somehow...
Thank you - we at the time worked with transfers and furniture paint. Transfers are the easier way to get a painted look without the artistic talent of fine painting. I’m a creative furniture painter. Which I’m on a bit of a break at the moment. 💖 I hope you find what you’re looking for.
Watching from beautiful West Orange, New Jersey, home of Thomas Edison 💡 and myself now hehehe. I was born in Ecuador and immigrated in 2006. I work (and live hehe) at a Banquet Hall. It’s called the Pleasantdale Chateau. It’s a historic little castle. There are numerous weddings still being celebrated around here, and we get our fair share of fine wines with their wonderful boxes. We save them, and use them to transport glassware, or as raisers for food, hors d’ouvres, and what not. I feel like we could make a couple extra hours of work on this hard times by embellishing oír boxes. Thats why I just bought oil based stain, but the water based stain you applied seems easier, safer, and cheaper hehe. Love what you do with the boxes and I probably will do the oil in some and the water in others. Mixing and matching 😊❤❤❤ PS: its spring here but today feels like winter, windy and cold, but the smell of new life is here already. Thank you for your amazing video. 😊
Cuál es el papel construcción?????

Where did you buy these papillon stickers?
can you include a link for the products? where did you get the mold, resin etc?
Is the brown paint chalk paint?
Austin Texas me Kaye-Lee and Molly Brown
Light is so bright can’t see what the paint looks like going on
Hello from Mississippi
Thank you for the video!
My pleasure!
Using the slick side of the transfer backer sheet is easier on your hands. 😊
love this - what do you use as a "bonding primer"?
Rustoleum has a good spray primer. Slick Stick is for this purpose by Dixie Belle.
What are the item numbers for the frames ?
The picture frames? They are Hobby Lobby - white wood shadow box - sku 295113 - but type in the search white wood shadow box and you will see the other sizes, I preferred the shape of the white wood and could paint it like parchment and looked more authentic. I hope this helps - and they do go on sale so I would def. wait for the 1/2 price day!
Where do you buy the moulds from?
Hello Melanie - we sell them - pierceandbellehome.com/collections/redesign-with-prima/products/ancient-findings-mould
@@PierceAndBelle is this mould still available?
Monroe, LA
I don't know?😢
Thank you for watching!
Didn't catch what kind of glue ?
I most likely used mod podge or any glue that dries clear.
Beautiful!
Thank you!
Is what you are referring to as “bonding primer” any different from Kilz or any other primer?
As long as it says "bonding to slick surfaces" or similar - We have Country Chic clear bonding primer in our shop and we also use Bin Zinsser Bonding & Stain Blocking primer (some do both) but just regular Kilz or other primer - no. Some have specific jobs like only stain blocking or preparing the surface to take paint (wall primer). If it doesn't say it will bond to slick surfaces find another primer.
what grit sandpaper do you find is useful for these? I have a few raw wood wine boxes that I would like to stain but they definitely need to be smoothed out. thanks!
It depends on how rough they are - if they are really rough I will use 80-120 grit, otherwise 220 just to smooth them a bit. You don't want to have any splinters and you want a smooth surface for the transfer to adhere to.
Do you have link to paint I'm not seeing it in description..thx..this is beautiful 💛💛💜💛
You can use any furniture paint (works best especially with transfers). www.pierceandbelle.com for our paint collection.
Thanks for the tutorial. I want to making lots of these and use it as a 3D wallpaper.
That would be so cool! Definitely share a pic when your done!
I love that. It’s beautiful.
Thank you! ❤️
Hi. This is my first time here. I’m from central Canada. My husband bought home 6 pieces of E P Copper. Are you Familiar with that type of metal and would I be able to paint it. This is something I would like to do with the items.
Yes of course you can! Clean, bonding primer and then paint.
Great tutorial! I have a tufted bench to paint. Years ago I used quilted fabric stapled to a wood toy box lid. When I wanted to change to neutral, I painted it. I also painted a little padded footstool. Both pieces wore well. Like your tip of spraying water. Also like how you put casters under legs. The video could be shorter, but realize you may not want to take time to do editing. TFS.
Thank you for watching, yes, agree on the length! We have recently started pre taping and editing our videos to be more bite size. I love the quick fix of upholstery painting too!
Where can I get the stencil you used?
studior12.com/products/authentic-charles-whiskey-stencil-by-studior12-diy-victorian-liquor-home-decor-gift-craft-paint-wood-sign-reusable-mylar-template-select-size?_pos=2&_sid=07bb2b9c9&_ss=r Thank you for watching!
Hi! I've been to Spring many times to the Street Rod Shows in Old Town Spring! I'm south of you in Brazoria! The lighting is so bright I really can't see any color. The idea is great though! Thanks for sharing!
The light was hard with the colors -it was a live video and not pretaped and edited like our newer videos. I will have to do another one! With better lighting!
It would help if the camera was angled straight down on the piece. It’s impossible to actually see what’s going on.I could never get a clear look until it was held up at the end.
Thank you for your feedback and thank you for watching.
Is that paint? Or a stain? Or what?
Hi Melinda, all of those colors from Country Chic Paint are all paints. You can certainly use the glazes to dry brush as well.
How did this end up holding up?
So far so good - it is on the front door of a friends shop. It is under a covered porch.
Beautiful. Thank you for taking the time.
Thank you for watching! ❤️
What paint are you using on the legs? (the darker)
It's all the same color, I put a glaze on the frame (Van Dyke Brown).
Nice! I like this idea!
Thank you!
Hi Ann, I'M NOT A GUY
guy: /ɡī/ people of either sex. "you guys want some coffee?"
It came out so beautiful! Thanks for sharing your creative ideas.Where to get the mould and the resin?
North Carolina. Different shades of blue and purple
Thank you for watching!
What would you sell a refinished plate like that for ?
We sold ours for $37 - depends on what the piece cost and how much work you put in it. Hope that helps.
A little long …. but good ideas
thank you! We are aiming for shorter videos now! We hope you enjoy the shorter condensed videos.
Thank you for your inspiration ⚜️💗⚜️ I have 5 rolling pins to sell 💟💟💟
That is awesome!
I always love it when people think outside the box. Very nice! tfs Happy 4th
Thank you!❤️
Greetings from Mesa, AZ 🌵🌵🌵
Hello!! Thank you for watching! ❤️
I wish I could see what you were doing. The glare is awful.
Thank you for the feedback! It’s on the list to remake!
Wausau, WI
Thank you for watching!
Awesome video and beautiful painting idea! Thanks for this, we love supporting fellow art channels! Best of luck in 2021, love from Canada!!
Thank you so much 😀
Your welcome, keep creating!!
My favorite are the colors from 1700 France, very soft and romantic. The he color you are using is from that era.
I love soft romantic colors and every thing French! 💖
