    Thank you again. One more question. I work with PDF links with 2 pages. I use a visibility rule and create multiple layers for different versions. This is time consuming however, is it possible to use this asset location and link 2 page PDFs? That won't confuse the first and second page of course. Thanks

    This makes a lot of sense, but im hoping that you can easily answer this question. In my case my data list only has a "Full Name" column. There are spots where i need to use just the first name. How do i apply this rule? I can't use the number as not everyone has 4 or 5 letter first names. Thanks

    How about when You would want to make all this dynamic - I mean to combine the two lists as they change (not necessary to look for duplicates)? In other words one and the other lists gets longer with time, new rows are being added, so the combined list also gets longer...

    • @fullertoncollegeprepresscl7553
      @fullertoncollegeprepresscl7553 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Are you asking how to automate the lists to integrate themselves? I would think you would need to write a script to do that. I am not the best with that, but applescript does allow you to automate repetable processes within MacOS... otherwise, could you clarify your question?

    • @gbxgbxgbx
      @gbxgbxgbx 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fullertoncollegeprepresscl7553 Yes, this is what I meant - I just thought there is some conventional method to do it, as it SEEMS easy :) thanks!

      More than likely it is possible. I need to get better at scripting the make it happen. Of course, the seemingly easiest things somehow end up the hardest things when you actually attempt them.

    What if im going from light green to dark green?

    • @fullertoncollegeprepresscl7553
      @fullertoncollegeprepresscl7553 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you for your quastion; it's a good one. Within the CMYK colorspace, light to dark green should be less problematic, but follows the same logic. If the two greens are both simply made of different quantites of Cyan and Yellow, or just adding Black to the color, it will go as well as a gradient can on any given press. However, there may still be some greying in the center of your gradient if one of the greens contains an amount of Magenta! The point of the video is to consider the CMYK recipe for the colors you are using, so it may benefit you to change which precise shades of green you're using to make sure they are compatible with each other for a smooth gradient. I hope this is helpful!
