Kind words pal, and straight bk at you. Much more "Professional" looking than my efforts, I am finding if I copy from one larger image rather than a small image of two characters, my results are improving. I will have another bash at him. Is your black Lamy a broad nib?

I made a silver ring using the lost wax process that was inspired and based on a Sid Vicious interview where he tells the interviewer who's asking why he's so fond of a particular word and he says "Well I'm a CU%T, you're a CU%T. We're all CU%TS. My most popular ring. I should make another one with a Y at the end for those less committed. 😂 You've inspired me. I remember when we used to make zines... ah, the 90s ❤

Totally agree with you Darren about the late 70s 80s being Cliff's best stuff. The synth component really worked well with his smooth voice and gave it that lushness as you say. I love that analogue synth sound... 78-83 is exactly how I say it was the golden years of pop. They just can't capture that warmth nowadays - and perhaps that was the studio console set up back then and also 'tape warnth'. My fave tracks are Carrie, We don't talk anymore, Wired for Sound, Devil Woman. I even like the 1989 - Just Don't have the Heart he made with SAW - but that's cos I had a crush on Michaela Strachan and they pushed that song on hit man and her for a few months! Nice painting!

Cheers! Might be a few months before I do another Drawin' In, even this was way more effort than a single painting video. Mind you, a lot of stupid technical issues, maybe the next one will be a smoother process.
What the pen Darren? Is it a standard Fountain pen?
Good question, I might do a video about my gear. It's a Lamy Safari fountain pen. Pretty basic, they're good quality but not expensive. However, I have added an adaptor so I can draw ink from a bottle rather than buy cartridges, because I need permanent ink and Lamy's cartridge ink is water soluble.
Very enjoyable, I'll be watching more.

Yeah, Vinyl Exchange have it for £27.99. I'd consider it at that price but it's still secondhand. It's certainly a shame he never saw it finally get some acclaim. Or did he?...
There's some lovely drawings and paintings in there, beautiful work mate. I love your command of colour, it's simple but very striking. I have one Leuchtturm book, for writing with a fountain pen mainly, haven't dared to paint in it yet. It's lovely paper, some of the nicest I've felt, I think, but it is a tad too expensive for me. And yes, Freddie was the man. How lucky we all are that a musician like that played music for the world.

Ha, I watched that episode of Magnum. Rick won a million dollars. Still watch all these shows, got them all on plex. S&H, Kojak, TJ, Dukes of Hazzard, A Team etc. Theres an episode of Six Million Dollar man with Shatner as an astronaut who comes bk to earth and can talk to dolphins! Insane. I'm stuck in the 70s/80s
