Saw Malhavoc play at Infest just outside of Calgary around the early 90s,great show.Bad Brains,Ramones,Violent Femmes,Meat Puppets,Didjits and 50 other cool bands,what a weekend that was.

Love how Steve faithfully reproduces Fripp but still totally makes it his own. Frickin’ brilliant. Must be tough to play the rhythm when the last note gets dropped and goes out of time with Adrian. Sounds so cool the way the riff weaves in and out with each other.

This probably sounds like cacophony to the uninitiated, but no matter how I tear it apart, no matter how I break it down, it remains consistent. I LIKE IT!!! I wish I had been there to see it! But I was mountain biking in Peru, so not a total loss. Thanks for posting so I could at least get a sense of what it was like.

Tony Carey is a really talented drummer. Did you go?

Really nice. I did a bunch of Robert Fripp King Crimson shows at the Amphitheater. Just sat side stage on some road cases enjoying the show.

I was living in Toronto when this first dropped, before heading down to NYC for the Fall... 1999 was a great f-in year.

Thank you very much for recording this and posting it, I was upset that I missed this because I was stuck at the entrance slowly being let through the front gates when this was happening, the rain made the line move even slower, but it was my fault for showing up late. It's too bad Filter had to go on so early and only played 6 songs, I hope they plan on coming back to Toronto to headline a show soon.

Love me some old Filter. The first 2 records. Saw them a few years back at The Opera House. They had a guitar player at the time who was shredding Van Halen style solo's over Hey Man Nice Shot which pissed me off as it ruined the whole vibe of the song. Is he still with them?

Definitely upload the whole gig. Classic industrial sounds.

Can't wait to watch the whole thing to refresh my memory. Two memorable shows I saw at Foufounes Electriques back in the time was this one and Angry White Mob crushing some TV's.
