I see fixable mistakes. His footwork is good and he stays in front well. But he doesn't use his arms correctly. He'll be fine after some coaching. He just needs to keep a hand in their face and learn to anticipate release points better, as currently his contests are just kinda random.

I would agree that 2/5 clips are when the shot clock is about to expire, mistake on my end. Will update the title to be more reflective. The 1st clip though I disagree. There's 19 seconds on the shot clock and the pass to SGA at the top is the clear best option. All 5 DOM players are way below the free throw line and wouldn't rotate in time. To me the 3rd and 5th clip are more nuanced. He shot 31.1% from 3 on 6.1 3PA per game that year with NO. Career wise he's at 33.9% on 3.9 3PA. Those numbers are not good enough to justify him taking movement 3's , especially if it's the first option in a set.

@@jonathancchen he’s not going to improve his shot by not shooting. Watch videos of his off season workouts before you make any claims about him not having a shot. The dude can shoot and shoot well. He’s had like 4-5 different coaches in his first 4 seasons in the NBA. Taking a video of a tiny sample size of shots and somehow linking him to “poor shot selection” is wack. Shai Gilgeous Alexander was in the conversation of being the MVP last season. I assure you that I could go back through the season and find dozens of questionable shots taken by him too. Just a weird and hater take that you’d find it necessary to make a video about a non truth.
