I'm thrilled to introduce myself-I'm a passionate aero modeler and a private helicopter pilot with over 2,500 hours of flight experience. My journey began at six years old, and since then, I've been deeply immersed in RC aviation. With a solid background in mechanical engineering, my expertise lies in aero engines, both big and small. My fully equipped workshop is my playground, where I tackle all kinds of small engine repairs, from replacing bearings to rebuilding carburetors. In 2020, launched EPHIL , dedicated to developing high-quality, long-lasting RC engines with electric start. After three years of rigorous R&D, we brought our engines to market in Feb 2024. Since then, EPHIL engines have earned a global reputation for exceptional performance and reliability. At EPHIL Power, we're committed to delivering top-notch engines and unparalleled after-sales service, all at an affordable price. Our dedication to customer satisfaction and product excellence sets us apart in the industry.

How many RPM do you get with the 24x9
Hi I'm getting 7300 RPM at sea level on 28c day on 24 x 9 Falcon carbon prop😊
@EPHILKev WOW Much more than I get from my 76cc, I get only 6700-6800 RPM with 24x8 carbon PT Model prop
@@vanbrenk1 I'm talking in flight RPM not static rpm and this will depend on your airframe and drag profile
@EPHILKev OK clear, I use this engine on a 90" Pilot rc Extra 330SX simelair to your airframe, and the RPM results are on the ground, how much RPM do you get on the ground?
@@vanbrenk1 on the ground 6800RPM is correct 👌 when tuned
What are the ratings of this motor - Horsepower - RPM - fuel consumption ???
@@raydreamer7566 just go to www.ephilaustralia.com.au and all.rhe engine specs are thier
A 2 cycle engine should run between 170 - 220 Farenheit. If you are running 160 and 170 celcius that converts to ,330 Ferenheigt that is way too fing hot man.....

Link ?
And to think I was riding on a 49.9CC TOMOS moped.....that went 44MPH. When I dropped in here I thought this was going to be used on a Para Wing/Glider platform used for a human to fly. I got that wrong but it's cool none the less. peace
Thanks Mya😊
This is so cool, it's a pleasure to work with you!
Kevin You're so handsome
@mengyuancai6592 Thank you, Mya
Very detailed presentation. Wonderful video. Kevin you are amazing!👍
Very nice indeed. Hauls that 30 lb plane around with absolute authority. Sounds great with the silicone extensions to cut out the snap and idles beautifully for sure. Thanks. It's almost enough to convert me back to gas :) I flew Pitts' for over twenty years back in the day and this one takes the cake.
At 8:18 you gave us an example that everything is plugged in and the plane is sitting on the flightline assumably dead. Then you roll one of the rotary switches and the plane becomes alive? How? Then you remotely arm the ESC? How? I fly big electric (30 to 60cc equivalent) and would love to know how you are doing this.
Hi, the key is to use FRSKY radio it's all standard with their remote switch option. The esc is armed with a pwm 60 amp switch on its own channel
Nice aircraft and nice engine. I especially like your remote starter system. Will that remote starter system fit on a Evolution .52 Glo Engine (It's the same size as the Evolution .46, but bored out to .52.) Do you sell the remote starter system separately?
@kalvinnoble488 These are not after-market Starters it's all part of the EPHIL engines www.ephilaustralia.com.au
@EPHILKev Cool. Does EPHIL offer nitro engines with starters included? Do you know of any company that offers remote starters similar to what comes on EPHIL gasoline motors?
@kalvinnoble488 we do all our engine in glow plug gas ⛽️ as well as spark ignition for uavs but no nitro
Is anything bigger on the dwg board? I'm thinking Toni Clarke 30% Sopwith Pup for next winter.
@mrvoyagerm yes the 123cc twin is now available ephilaustralia.com.au
@EPHILKev Thanks, I will look into this.
Come along way, wonder when fuel injection will come 👌🇦🇺
Hi, i would recommend a 22 x 12 or 23 x10. These would suit the p51 Mustang. You need a small diameter and a hight pitch propeller to get the scale speed effect.
hi Kevin, very interested in using one of your engines for the Hangar 9 P-51D Mustang 60cc ARF. Of coarser would like to use a scale propeler. Which one do you recommend that will fit and work? Thank you!
Yes we're very happy with the performance, and they will be available from EPHIL Australia from 14th January www.ephilaustralia.com.au
That’s impressive
very Nice Thanks for sharing
Which separate switch is he using for the starter ESC? Brand?
@DPM737 I've asked Kevin to answer your question as soon as possible. Cheers
"Hey there! Just a heads-up that the ESC I use is the 40 amp model from the EPHIL brand. For remote switches, I'm a fan of FRSKY, but guess what? You can also go with PWM 40 amp relay switches. Exciting news - these will soon be available on my website www.ephilaustralia.com.au. Stay tuned!"
The one in this video is an FRSKY remote switch. But I do make a 60amp PWM switch $39 AUD and have them available. Just drop me an email.
TOO NOISY
@samsmester7983, yes typical 2 stroke although we find the EPHILS to be slightly quieter than the other 76cc engines. Luckily we don't have any noise restrictions at our club. Thanks for watching mate.
This electric stuff has transformed the hobby. It's amazing!
@AndyRRR0791 it sure has, and it's not stopping
It really has and it only going to get better.
1st to like 👍
Legend!
Hey Luke you know you really want one.
@EPHILKev yea I do!
