I was big into TDIs a few years ago! I’ve owned a few of them and they were so much fun! I want to TDI swap something crazy eventually! And you’re probably right! That was pretty much all we did that weekend though and I’m trying to keep making weekly content. Gotta keep trying other things!

Unfortunate but it’s understandable!

We installed this after we manual swapped this 01 car. 01 cars have different wiring than the other IS300s so we couldn’t swap in a manual ECU. This emulator tricks the ECU into thinking it still has the auto trans, therefore not leaving the car in limp mode after a manual swap.

Good call! I had that issue on my obs 7.3. My ECM didn’t have a gasket and I pulled it out to find a 1/2” of water inside the ECM 😳

This removes the limp mode you get after you manual swap an 01 car.

If I had a tube bender I’d be more inclined to try and build my own bumper! I might have to modify whatever one I get to fit how I want it though!

Need a lot of blood sweat and tears to get something like this done!
