This is a channel dedicated to the hobby of beer can collecting. We talk to people about their beer can collections and related topics.
Beer Can Fan: Alf A.
Alf Alvarez collects a wide variety of can types but his unique quest is to recreate the collection of all 21 cans from the so-called "Exotics" page of Jack Martells' classic book, The Beer Can Collector's Bible. No easy feat when you consider that the page includes both a yellow and a red 12 oz. Soul can, a couple of Playmate cans as well as all of the 007 James Bond cans. He's well on his way!
Alf also shows us some examples of Dallas area classic cans and some other favorites in this wide ranging interview. Be sure to look out for a special guest appearance by Kiki the kitty cat!

I gave 500 away to a friend years ago. I started collecting in the 70s. 007 was the hardest to get when i was in jr high.
It's great to finally put a face to the PMs we have traded Jim. Still have one of your cans from your last collection. The best can I have ever owned. Looking forward to selling it, to buy one of your pairs when you do decide to sell them. Cheers Ric

@@BeerCanFans I have 3 vintage beer cans one is Olympia beer founded in 1896 it has a copyright date on the side of 1934. the second one is a beer can from Hamm's beer and it has a date of 1955 on the bottom of the can. The third can I have it from Lucky lagger and has a date of 1955 also
