Lung infection was cured by oral antibiotics prescribed by vet. Budgie became normal after few weeks.

This for some reason showed up in my recommended, even though I don't really care for birds nor have any idea who you are. This was cool, glad I clicked XD I've only owned dogs and can see lots of similarities. Noted; birds can be like pet dogs. Birds are cool XD
Dear Robin Birds Both of my budgies are showing similar symptoms, I'm planning to give cumin water a try, could you tell me for how long did you boil the seeds in water? Has your bird shown symptoms since then? Any kind of cumin seed will do or should I buy an organic one? Thank you in advance!
Hi. Sorry for the late reply. Boil the seeds for a minute or two, until the colour of the water changes. Any kind of cumin seed. My bird never showed symptoms after that. Hope your budgies are fine.
@@robinbirds bro can you give cumin water to even those who don't have any problem like it's okay and healthy to give cumin water ryt it isn't a antibiotic ryt?and my budgie does this but she isn't vomitting I think so but she sneezes the same so can I try giving her the water even if I'm not sure that she has respiratory disease aur this problem that your budgies has is it fine to give?

@@krrishluthra1934 it's not antibiotic. You can give it a try. This is just for digestive problems i think.
My budgie was vomitting and making this noise. She threw up undigested food. I consulted a vet and showed him the video. He said that it must be stomach infection. He prescribed antibiotics. But before giving antibiotics he told me to try cumin seed water for a few days. (Cumin seed water: Take half to one teaspoon of cumin seeds and put it in half to one glass of water and then boil the water. The cumin seed essence will mix with water and the water turns yellow. Then filter and serve.) I gave her the water she really liked it. I thought of diluting it if she refused. But she drank it well. I switched to normal water only during the night. I did this for atleast five days. The vomitting frequency gradually reduced and gone completely. Now she's alright. She is not vomitting anymore. Back to normal. If your bird does this consult a vet immediately. Get their opinion before trying anything.

Actually she was vomitting. I noticed that the following days. She was spraying food all over the place while doing that head shake. Now she's fine.

@@krrishluthra1934 i mainly think it’s to do with them moulting as when they preen their feather they shed their quills, that can get stuck in their throat, so can dust so I make sure to keep my room as clean as possible as it can also affect humans as well, I have an air purifier and i hoover daily and that has made a huge difference, they do it on the odd occasion but very rarely. It could also mean they have respiratory issues so a vet check would probably be needed if they are doing it often, this is different to vomiting as it’s more of a sneezing fit
@@spyfalls_ bro my budgie isn't vomitting sometimes she just starts continuously sneezing but their is no discharge from her nose and today nyt I saw that she was slightly tail bobbing maybe cuz of temperature they are having this problem cuz in delhi temperature is 35-45° Celsius but it can be respiratory disease any thoughts about this can u plz tell me that why is she doing this?
