One of the scariest bridges ever

I tried to look up the Ipod tour for the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel but I guess they took it away because they updated their website to a new website.

I'm from East Tennessee and I have never been to Laurel Bloomery so thank you for the video tour.

At 5:34 field offices for Century Link, formerly Sprint Telephone, worked with them back in 98' to 99'.

Great & very informative video. I used to travel on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel between Friday, October 20,1972 & Wednesday, July 31,1974 when I was in the Navy stationed aboard the USS Seattle AOE-3 which was homeported in Norfolk,VA. I was a weekend commuter & would ride the Greyhound serviceman’s Friday Express bus from Norfolk Navy Base to New Castle, DE when I didn’t have weekend duty & would ride back to Norfolk on Sunday nights. Sometimes I would ride in a carpool. The construction of the second(Southbound)Thimble Shoal Tunnel is under construction & will be ready for traffic in late 2022 & the second Chesapeake Channel Tunnel(Southbound will begin in 2023, by it will be 4 lanes, 2 in each direction on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel.

Not to be confused, of course, with Maryland's Chespeake Bay Bridge. :-) (And there are plenty of videos of both.)

Camera lens fog due to the temperature/humidy changes traveling through tunnels. Lens clears up after a short time.

Saw and crossed this wonder in August 2009. Speechless. Had crabcakes at the restaurant. Will never forget

I looked this up because I'm driving through it in two days I'm so excited :D

I was attending Camp Wawona. A SDA youth camp that belongs to our church.

Did this as a kid at Wawona. My ass was so sore. Why cant someone design a more comfy saddle after all these years?
