@@SamK93 Its amazing how it all adds up when you've been doing it a few years. I'm prity sure my poor car is on its limit bringing it all in. I didn't even mention my spare engine oil, engine coolant and winscrean washer flued. Its no good finding something is low on Tuesday if your not going to be back at the yard untill Friday night Saturday morning.

I have been in this industry my entire life, I taught somebody how to couple an artic the other week because they passed in a wagon and drag. But why should I get my class 1? Also pay is subjective to the individual. There are people paid more than me that don't deserve it and there are people paid less than me who should be on.more but they are happy

No, I don’t think you should get your class 1 if you don’t want it I need it But that doesn’t mean you can class yourself as in the same category, someone who’s got a more advance license just because you’ve been doing A class two for so long Putting in a more simple term you can’t say because you’ve been in the reserve team In football for 20 years at you’re as good for or equal to a player in the first team . And yes, pay objective, but all should be fair not having Healthy discussions and communication is not good for anybody .

Well I think you'd agree your trained how to pass a test nowadays not how to be a driver The way I look at it is I do the exact same job as you, apart from I don't have the bendy bit, I face the exact same challenges and have to abide the same rules. Parking's easier granted. I look at most "class 1" work and to be honest I find it boring. Carting pallets from place to place or letting a forklift driver do most of the work. Obviously I appreciate there are interesting and more challenging jobs on the artics but I find the more challenging and interesting work exists on the rigids.

@@SamK93 I would agree in most cases class 2 has the more active and interesting work . Unless you do class 1 Plant machinery Transfers
