Yeah no it was definitely a huge learning experience for me, even though I've been going to cons this long and should know better, I really came to some big realizations after this one about what I should and shouldn't do, In the end overall it was a fun time! Just should've gotten new face paint (mine was lowkey expired) and pros-aid instead of spirit gum/eyelash glue, but ya live ya learn, thank!

I bought a box of rit dye that was around 1-1/8 ounces (link in description to see what they look like or to purchase online) and I followed the instructions in the box. Basically dampen the overalls, bring a large pot of water to a boil, add in and stir the dye (all the dye in the small box) and put in the overalls for about 10-30 minutes or until the colour is what you want. Next put them in the wash with mild soap or no soap and rinse them on cold (put them in the washer by themselves or with an old towel or the dye will transfer to other stuff in there/0 and either dry on a cool temperature or let air dry.

1) It was my first EVA foam project so I rlly didn't know what I was doing 2) It's cold inside my house I'd rather put on a hat than pay extra for heat 3) As a matter of fact yes, I clean every Friday and Monday. Half the room is my sister's which is most of what you see in the background and I do not clean up after her. The room tends to get messy when starting projects like this because the materials get everywhere/no time to clean bc it's all spent working, etc.
