    Hi, came here from the reddit post by titan viper, after watching I thought I'd share a couple tips. You can go straight away with a full built lepic and he can solo frostwalker with the enhanced version of luna's crit / dmg buff, she just needs to stack to full then you time the buff with the end of lepics roll after ulting, if you shoot for the core / eye it will stagger frostwalker when it breaks. Frost walker has 42,432,267 max hp and 21, 216,134 max shields totalling 63,648,401 HP. Like other colossus he has 28% crit resistance so after you hit max crit chance you can still expect to not crit a couple of shots if you're unlucky, with a full build Luna, Lepic combo I shoot my ult 18 times for well over 100 million damage total so you should have no issue killing him this way! Gluttony is another story, he seems to have more crit resist based on personal experience, he has more health total than I can do damage, his knees don't trigger an actual stagger phase, just a brief animation (that is cancelled if he enrages) so you have to shoot for the core which is a smaller further away target and he hits like a truck so the set up often goes badly. Luna is fantastic, 50% flat skill chance increase is no joke, especially with Lepic where the majority of his damage comes from his 4.5x(ish) skill crit damage, if you include her increase of skill power (I believe it goes to around 50% but I don't main Luna for our group) a Luna + Lepic combo does significantly more damage than 2 Lepics, so you can imagine how much damage 3 Lepics and a Luna can dish out!

      Yep, we know! Unfortunately though, most of my friends have spent most of their time focusing on building into characters more than Firearms, so I'm required for the initial part break, as I've done the opposite. Once he's down it's all up to them for the kill.

But I have also seen someone say and also demonstrate that the damage difference is only 5% and nameless breathe attacks reach longer distance. What is the final situation now?

      ​@@alpersoylu00 They updated damage values for Breath attacks after I made this video, but they did so about a month after I released this video, so the update isn't exactly "new". As for breath attacks reaching a longer distance, both attacks have the same range, but the named attacks have a wider AoE as well. I think people mistakenly believe they have less range because it simply appears that way, as the wider cone makes it seem comparatively shorter even though they actually hit at the same exact distance. I showcase this within the video, and that hasn't changed in any updates that I have noticed.

      @@negativegaming1337 Do you know any website to see updated version of the damage? The one I use has DLC incantations too, it is tarnished(.)dev, and still shows some difference in damage. If the difference is only 4-5% as some said to be, I would choose normal breath attacks as they are much more FP efficient

      @@damazsta yes, but how much? Skill power x what%? The information is basically nonexistent and as a result many people miss that it DOES actually have considerable benefits with Skill Power Modifier.

      @@jbowers227 it IS hidden when there is no indication of the skill modifier at all, anywhere. What% of defense does it scale with? What% of Skill? What's the base Skill Modifier? There's nothing indicating any of this at all, anywhere.

    Important note! I just learned through testing that Orbital Barrier DOES SCALE WITH SKILL POWER! I don't know how much it affects it exactly, but the difference it definitely, immediately noticeable, when Skill Power is increased. Skill Power Modifier also increases this. This changes quite a bit as far as my overall build philosophy on Collosi fights.

    As an experienced Glaive player DT becomes natural when fighting bosses and what I mean is you learn the bosses movements where they become predictable ( I fully understand not all players can). For the kinsect drill wouldnt it be added into the numbers even with the varied outcome since he's usable at will for air? Not to mention blast dust (op af). I know you can draw the kinsect out with RT in melee too but it loses the random drill. Even if it hits once or twice that's free damage. And you're kinda right on the animation lock from DT BUT! If you hold LT+y (or B) it cancels the drill and you're able to move slightlty quicker than if you fully complete the animation. (Proof on my did you know video no self promoting sorry <3)

      @@xMikegTTV all great points, but it only furthers my stance that DT in and of itself is too variable and powerful to be calculated into either purely aerial or purely grounded data evaluations. It's a single move powerful enough to build around entirely, and the differences in Kinsect choice (in terms of power/speed/powder type) also play a significant enough role to categorize it as a separate entity as far as I'm concerned. I don't disagree with what you're saying at all, in fact I agree completely with the premise.

    Stationary targets are great for tests but glaives in the real scenario (Randoms are all over the place) aerial is priority for sustain damage output. Melee is viable especially with Maximum Might replacing your crit eyes!

There will always be some degree of variability during combat, especially when other players are involved, and there is *definitely* a lot of difference between many species, as far as how easy it is to maintain optimal DPS uptime. This video was really just intended to show the average dps difference between the two playstyles in numbers that make sense, because that information is basically nonexistent if you search for it. The general consensus of those who DO spreadsheets and number crunching almost unanimously just say "ground is better and that's all that matters" but I like having a bit more information, even if that info can fluctuate quite a bit depending on your specific build/monster you're after etc.

      ​@@negativegaming1337 I heard when you were talking about the Decending Thrust but in the video you used the strong jumping slash attack each time, My Question is why was decending thrust over looked? It hits 4 times, 2 while leaping from the air and 2 forced swings once your character has touched the ground. I range from 300-400 on the first hit alone not counting the last 3 which hit slightly less. (It also marks the target for your kinsect as well and starts his autos if hes on your arm). I get this is a video showing the difference between the 2 but you left out our major finisher as aerial. Its not technically fully airbourne but its for sure alot stronger than jumping slash (which is situational when youre mentally keeping note of the mount build up). Im not being mean about anything Glaive for life <3 just wondering why Decending was left out .

      @@xMikegTTV Descending Thrust wasn't specifically looked at for a few reasons! ¹- it's both Aerial and Ground based ²- has a long animation on the ground and requires better timing and commitment to consistently use, making sustained dmg output with it more difficult than usual ³- It's damage output can vary GREATLY depending on what Kinsect you use, as the Kinsect pierces the monster and, depending on Kinsect speed, will provide more strikes. Slower Kinsects hitting notably more than faster ones. Because of these factors, DT alone can't really be attributed to Ground OR Aerial, and is kind of it's own separate thing, imo.

    if you got the 3 buffs in the aerial fight you'll do more dmg Red + White = 10% Attack increase White + Orange = 10% Defense increase Red + White + Orange (triple buff) = 15% Attack increase + 10% Defense increase. Lasts for 90 seconds

      Correct! With the Chicken I tested on in the video however, getting that orange buff is tedious unless he's carrying a stone, so I typically don't stress about that extra 5% with him unless it's an easy grab opportunity.

      @@negativegaming1337 LITERALLY. i've mained about 7 of the 14 weapon types and i've never had as much fun with anything else - aerial combat insect glaive is fantastic especially for maneuverability and destroying parts that are hard to reach or remaining aggressive during monsters' enraged states. DPS doesn't equal efficiency!

      Yeah I'm Cory, I posted the link for you 😅 The problem is the netcode. The way FromSoft designs their online games means that Attacker perspective wins every time. So if the attacker (whomever is firing the lasers) fires on their side when it looks like a good hit, but the defender (me, in this video) dodges it on his side, he still takes a hit. All weapons are affected like this, but lasers in particular are the worst because they have such a high velocity and very short window of opportunity to dodge. So that's why people hate lasers so much in PvP, even 1/8th of a second delay between players can cause complete chaos.

But this is ranked and unless I pull out the dumbass tank and get lucky I ain't cheesing nothing I'm close to promotional on s rank and the wins are mostly hard fought especially with the number of actual tanks and kites

    thank you! so for PVE, closing huge distance unseen with Assassin's Gambit and invisibility stuff I think Bloodhound Step is better to go around. in PVP situations (depending on melee builds) I'd say Quickstep has more utility because of the less distance traveled and faster recovery time plus you don't just hop somewhere you didn't want to. in my case for this PVE Oneshot Mage "Fern" Build I am currently doing, I think Bloodhound is my choice. results may vary. will update on wether it was the right choice or not in case I was wrong :D

    If you know hex editing, get Cheat Engine, start your MW5 game process, start Cheat Engine (CE), load MW5 process in CE, find the offset where your C-bills is, change it to any amount that your heart desire.

    So u throw a slow coral missle just as they are about to get staggered by impact dmg, then pro-long that stagger by multiple dagger hits which lends enough time for the missile to connect, did i understand the tech right sir?

    Im not understanding how you're able to not get detected picking up. Everytime i try all enemy mech are following my position and i get detected trying to leave after picking up. I find infiltrations tedious and seemingly impossible to complete but i also dont understand how what the developers intended for you to figure this out or their method of completing this.

      I use light mechs with really high movement speeds, to minimize the time spent within an enemy's detection zone. If you're on PC and using mods, they could very well interfere with Infiltrations.

      It does, but it conflicts with Bounty missions from the previous DLC. If you try to do this when you have a Bounty reward, you'll get frozen in the screen and will need to reload the game.

    Quick breakdown of the vid- Coral Generators do not affect the damage output of Coral weapons, melee or otherwise, however they do increase the damage of Assault Armor. Melee specialist arms increase the damage of Coral Melee, even the energy beam. Energy specialist generator stats do not affect Coral weapons at all.

      Correction, unless I am missing something, going back after the delete the checks after you choose the mechs, you don't keep them, but the points still accumulate. Perhaps I missed something, or maybe they fixed it in the past few weeks. Also I don't see my screen going Gray as yours did.

    Stun Needles themself arent the problem, its the Electric Discharge thats causing the problem and you need a head that reduce Status recovery to make both Electric Discharge and ACS Anomaly(They are SCARY when people use Napalm or Flamethrower + the starter Machinegun) Deffinitly reccomend playing a medium range build like Ransetsu Rf, Harris, or ironicly Quad Leg Plasma Thrower + 61PSA Shield And Honorable mention to the Trueno Needle Missile

      I'm currently running Mid-close range Karasawa full charge w Duel Morley with the funny Kikaku booster for immediate melee rush and hell, gave many Duel Zimmers free nightmare
