Why did you upgrade to nova300? I need an amp and am deciding between nova 150 and 300. My speakers are focal Vestia no 3 (92db sensitivity with a dip to 2.9 ohms) they are rated for 40-300 watts per channel Can I save my $ and get the 150 or will the 300 be better choice? Thanks

great setup i have 6 Perlisten subwoofers 4 R12s in my garage and 2 D215s in my living room they sound great and hit hard

I have the 1700 sacd player that I bought for $900 from Accesories For Less and love it though the sound quality isn't night and day better than the Sony UBP X800 MK2 blu ray player that also plays sacd, blu ray audio, dvd audio etc but it is a little better for cd and sacd.

If you ever see a set of klh 6s, grab them. one of my fav speakers of all time, after replacing the crossover capacitors. these 3s have a similar sound signature.

Be curious to know which is your favorite. I think i like the KLH better, more of an even sound. Although, i am predisposed to liking klh, as i collect vintage klh.

I'm considering a purchase of these same speakers, and I see you used to have an Emotiva BasX A2 amplifier for these, which you have replaced with a Parasound. As someone who uses the Emotiva BasX A2, I'm wondering why you changed amps - Is the BasX A2 not a good match for the LS50 Meta?

So only 40watts of continuous power - yes ☝🏻 I feel so too on marantz mp7000n, I can’t give them more than 50-60% of 70 watts output in 8ohms. Need to know in advance, they for low and mid volume listening. Even better may be with some a-class or tube amps with 25-30 watt power..?

Great sound demo! Thanks! I took these speakers to replace Boston Acoustics a26. Those were a bit on the dark side of sound with my marantz pm7000n. Bass was overexposed, and highs were lost a bit. So now I fully satisfied with Tannoy sound, i’got mids and treble and a correct bass - ideal balance 🎉. What I wonder is that Tannoys couldn’t handle high power, i can’t make more than 50% on marantz, cause they became overloaded in my case. Could you please tell me if it so with yours too? Or i should bring my pair to service? They don’t handle let’s say more than 45-50 watts I assume.. I took them used..

Sounds great, I used the S150LCR, it used to sound good, but the Klipsch Thx-6000 LCR from 15 years ago sounds much better than the S150

I have older home theater amp that supports 4ohm but it's 80W left and 80W right. Is that not enough power for these?

I have tried listening to one of tannoy's speakers and I found it high pitched than all speakers I have listened to, a really interesting speaker.
