@@tsumi79 I hear you, but as with so many before you, it appears you aren’t understanding that: (1) the areas were chosen based upon FBI crime statistics as compared to national averages (some of these areas are 700% worse than the national averages); and (2) this is aimed at TOURISTS and I think you’d agree, most tourists should avoid these areas. We didn’t “make them seem” anything the crime statistics didn’t tell us. I will also remind anyone reading that living someplace and visiting someplace create totally different dynamics. FYI, places like West LV are much larger than “one or two blocks” and definitely has a MUCH higher crime rate than the national average. @@urielramirez2829 well, you are entitled to an opinion but as has been stated over and over, these neighborhoods were chosen based upon FBI crime statistics. I’m not sure what gangs have to do with anything. An area can be a NO GO zone and not have a gang problem. When the violent crime rate is 700% higher than the national average it is a reason for a tourist to stay away from that area. This video is meant for tourists, not locals who live in an area on a daily basis. So, no, “the dude” is not wrong. The FBI labels these “extreme high crime” zones. Sorry if that offends you.

Hey! Thanks for watching and glad you feel safe. As I have explained several times, the areas in the video were selected based on FBI crime statistics. I will also tell you that if you drive many of the areas you will find bars on the windows. What everyone commenting seems to miss is this video is aimed at making tourists aware. As a local you get to “fit into” an area and feel safer. Keep watching!

I get it. I'm from Murder City and this is Sin City. I love Sin City. People keep telling me how dangerous this city is getting. It is not, far from compared to where I am from. And I'll do whatever I can to keep it that way.

@@radfelross3386 I’m glad you enjoy it, but as I’ve said a few times, we can only base our advice off the FBI crime statistics which show that area 300% higher than the National average for violent crime. That’s reason enough to label it a NO GO zone. It’s all about the tourists on this channel.

That’s a great question, but only the tourists who do just that are the ones that can answer the question.

@@rickysmix I appreciate your comment a great deal. As I’ve explained numerous times, the video was designed around the FBI crime statistics. West Las Vegas-violent crime rate here is 713% higher than the national average. I’d say that’s pretty bad! Desert Shires-1 in 14 chance of becoming a crime big time with a crime rate 211% higher than the national average. Amenities are rated an F as in “find your grocery store and gym elsewhere.” The unemployment rate in the area is 19%. All of these numbers point to an area that has issues. I do appreciate other opinions, unfortunately crime data doesn’t concur with your opinion.

@@whiv Funny. I lived in Desert Shores for more than 10 years never had a problem and amenities are all this neighborhood.

@@rickysmix cool, but think realistically. I’ve lived in neighborhoods that are “dangerous” but after a short time I’m all good because I belong there. Those who don’t stand out and get victimized. I understand nobody wants their neighborhood on a list like this, but the crime stats do not lie. I will keep pointing you back to that.

@@jkfree8741 thanks for watching. I will tell you that everything in the video is based off of FBI crime statistics. When an area’s crime rate is 300+% higher than the national average it is probably not a place a tourist should be hanging out. You have your opinion and we have our opinion. The difference here is our opinion is based off actual crime statistics and not the comment “I live in … and it’s safe”. It may feel safe, but if the crime rate is more than triple the national average it is not safe. FBI states that if you visit many of the areas in this video you have a 1 in 10 chance of being the victim of a violent crime. Our goal was to advise tourists. We still maintain tourists should avoid these areas. We will be doing a follow up video soon and intend to interview LVMPD about the areas in question. Come back and watch that one when it is released for even more education on the areas.

Actually, Atomic Golf is different in many ways, not the least of which is the bigger variety of game modes.

@@RUBICON259 because by “been to” I meant “played at”. We’ve been inside Top Golf to use the pool. Thanks for the feedback though. I also believe that Atomic Golf is more hopping later at night. They have a bunch of things going on there (bars, restaurant, corn hole) and a drone show on certain evenings. Good stuff. I suppose that is a matter of opinion. There are people living in Vegas who will tell you (incorrectly) that the entire city is extremely dangerous and others (like you) claim there is nowhere in the valley that is "unsafe". We believe something in the middle! I think 98% of the valley is safe.

@@whiv I just retired after 30 years in a local utility in Vegas that required 24 hour emergency response. There is no part of Vegas north las Vegas or Henderson that we can not go alone.

In a follow up news article LVMPD even stated THEY don’t feel safe going to that area. So, as stated, the warnings are for real. Our content is mainly aimed at tourists. Why would a tourist want to visit dangerous areas when there are so many other great places to visit? Congrats on your retirement!

@@weeble45 not sure where you get your info from, but we 100% live in Vegas. Do you think we travel here weekly to record the weekly videos we release? If you disagree with our assessment of these areas, that’s cool, but we used FBI crime statistics to choose the areas included in the video. Seems like a reasonable place to get crime statistics from. As stated in another comment, when a neighborhood’s crime rate is 300+% higher than the national average it is cause for concern.

@@NorthernConnectFilm that’s a matter of opinion. When someplace is 350% higher than the average national violent crime rate, it’s reason to be concerned. Vegas is a city where you need to be aware of your surroundings at all times. Are there far more dangerous places? Yes! The video is intended to steer newbies away from the problem areas. We didn’t even cover the obvious ones like Naked City or Sunrise (a place LVMPD has warned to stay away from) specifically because we didn’t want to fear monger. We are here to assist tourists in having a great time on their Vegas vacation. Living here full time is a different story.

It isn’t quite that simple. Use google street view and check out Desert Shores. You’ll think it’s the nicest area, but it is a huge crime area.

Yet the only one that allows you to rent it instead of buying it. And honestly, it wasn't a bad scooter at all. I have since upgraded to a Segway.

Agreed. Obviously the focus was dangerous neighborhoods, especially places like Rancho Charleston that visually looks safe, but has massive crime problems. Thanks for watching!
