Just managed to get both Ornithologist’s guide and Grace of Kings on Kindle for 99p each 👏👏 (I’m in the UK but hopefully they’ll be on other country sites too 🤞) I only do Kindle and audio anyway so two bargains I couldn’t not one click haha. The last unicorn is such a throwback for me! Grew up watching it with my sister - definetly gave me nightmares as a kid (especially the creepy tree and the bulls), but such a beautiful movie. Will have to pick up the book!

Razorblade Tears is one of the best books I’ve ever read. Emotional and brutal but beautifully written. I listened to the audio version and the narrator was amazing. S A Cosby is a superb author and I agree, definitely a modern classic.

Girl I thought I was alone on Frankenstein. I tried listening/reading to it 3 seperate times and still got only halfway💀 Apparently not even Dan Stevens can make it better. Maybe someday I'll finish it, but I'm also not itching to.

Another great video. You said you love Agatha Christie, have you read any Ngaio Marsh books.? She was another 'golden age detective' writer. I'm currently half way through Death at the Dolphin. Her books are brilliant, and I would highly recommend them, especially Death in a White Tie and Singing in the Shrouds.

I know I said 10 books in the intro, but 11 books are mentioned in total 😅 This is because I had yet to completely finish Funny Story at the time I filmed this and didn’t want to count it in the total since I technically wasn’t done with it yet haha. However, I did finish it by the end of July and really enjoyed the end! Solid 7/10 read for me! <3
