The BBC TV Sport chat show, Onside, from 23rd August 1999. John Inverdale's guests were England captain Nasser Hussain, Chelsea manager Gianluca Vialli and Graeme Souness who was between jobs with Benfica and Blackburn Rovers. For copyright reasons the introduction footage and clip from Boy's from the Blackstuff have had to be removed but the full interviews remain.

Grandstand's obituary of Denis Compton who had just died aged 78 on April 23 1997. Voiced by Tony Lewis it includes an interview with Compton about his career. Steve Rider presented Grandstand and had Trevor Bailey as his studio guest.

This is taken from a VHS recording and has a few sound and vision issues and intermittent timecode but has been posted as it has some interesting interviews and footage that hasn't often been seen before. It appears to have been broadcast on the BBC on March 1st ahead of the Centenary Test in Melbourne. No production credits are on the tape.
