i was drafted 6/69 and was in Nam near the 90th replacement station in January 1970 .Tet was still on everyones mind .I missed it but my first week we got shelled from outside the base and had to arm up and search the area .My first darn week and i was in the field hunting for charlie
Kindofa quick adaptation for you I guess. Luckily, I went thru there in July '69 after the Tet offensive. Those mini-guns sure raised Hell, didn't they?
