A tip for getting in and out of the kayak… use your paddle as a stabilizer but putting it right up to the middle of the boat, vertically down into the water and to the bottom of the water (if it’s not too deep)… works like a charm

THANKYOU! That was the easiest demo to follow compared to all the others I've watched. I'm trying to fold it up for the first time so I can actually toss it in my sub and go on my inaugural paddle!
I just got mine in two days ago it's a little cool out now but can't wait to do it
I'm sorta bummed when I got mine they decided to discontinue giving the gear bar in and I can be extreme with how I kayak. I could see how when I was in big surf I felt it flex if they would've gave me the bar it would've been better.
I'd honestly say if you shot them a message they'd send you one over. Also, it WAS just a piece of PVC with some foam around it. If you're crafty, you may be able to set up something better. Did you get the stabilizers with yours? I know they're sending those out now too!

Just took my tuck tuck out on it's maiden voyage. It went great it was what I was expecting. I'm 150 with my gear it handled a speed boat blasting by me. Only thing I question is the skeg. It's kinda floppy and fragile in a way like you could accidentally step on it sideways when packing it up breaking the hardware but it works for what it is. I left the foam rails off and took the pins out and it allows me to paddle more unrestricted and I think it looks better. Tight lines. Ps. Get a big square jar of peanuts it makes a great waterproof case.
Yeah, the skeg seems to give people a lot of issues but if I just keep it as flat as possible and adjust it right before I'm in the water, I have no issues. Awesome to hear, man! Their customer service is almost the selling point for me so if anything happens with it just shoot them an email!

I've been out not in 7-8 MPH wind and it really isn't bad. It does get tracked by the wind, but still is just as manageable as other kayaks I've been out in tandem with! I'm still a bit hesitant on this folding kayak since I'm on the heavier side. Great tips! I usually have a thick folded black towel to soak up water and just wring out the water on long rides. How far do you paddle for? I suggest opening up your hand when it's in the up position while paddling, that allows you to stretch them and also promote a body rolling motion as you do a pushing motion at the top. This allows you to not get tired as quickly.
Awesome tips there on paddling. I usually try replicating rowing like I have done on those rowing machines at gyms, but haven't ever opened my hand. Just today I went about 3 miles lake paddling in it, and did 5 miles lake paddling on it a few weeks ago. It really wasn't that bad, but the 5 miler had me tested! Haha I use a towel now more than anything too so great minds must think alike on that one...on your end! Haha. Seriously appreciate you taking the time to check out the video, and maybe join the Facebook group if you're weary but interested and see all the people raving about this kayak there. "Older" is a mindset! You're always as young as you feel you are! ;) I'm 30 and use the word "older" with full respect EVEN TO MYSELF I promise! Haha I've got a full review to do so be on the lookout for that. I hope to get some things up about native plants and the way I learn about the things around me soon, so hopefully I can captivate you with some of those things! Another good video.... I have a milk crate with fishing rod holders attached for rods. I keep equipment in it as well.
I've gotta set something up like that, I'd take any tips. I've seen a few people use PVC they messed with to hold that stuff so I'm not sure the direction to take but the milk crate is a great addition.
