TEE RAm DE 4 - Stichting Trans Europ Express
Unique Dutch movie on the 'Stichting Trans Europ Express' (TEE foundation) in Zwolle which I made English subtitles for, so now everyone can watch it.
The original short film was broadcasted in August 2007 on Dutch television.
It tells the story of the TEE RAm DE4, told by the staff at that time.
The TEE operated from 1957 to 1974. This very luxurious train was one of the first highspeed trains and drove through five countries and came to cities like Zurich, Paris, Basel, Amsterdam, Strasbourg, Luxembourg.

This short movie was made on 20 October 2012 on the model railroad fair Eurospoor in Utrecht - Holland, the largest model railway fair in Europe. Three huge halls full with module layouts, diorama's, scenery stuff and 1000 meters (!) tables with used model trains for sale. One can only imagine the enormous size of Eurospoor if you have been there yourself. And please don't forget to visit Markl...
Marklin 1957 V200 3021(1)

Our 55 years old 100% original 3021(1) loco rides like new. I bought her in a lovely Dutch antique shop for € 50,- She has the 1957 1th version feathers, such as the silver triple-ribbed decoration lines and of course the open ventilation grills aka "durchbrochene Lüftergitter''. There is no additional sound decoder needed, she produce her own lovely 1950s Marklin sound.

Seriously? Did you hook this to a transformer?
Yea, only use fluke
It’s not a fail if you did it on purpose.
If it was Michael Bay's, it would have exploded.
This looks like a CT circuit being opened when the fuse blows.
6000v is my guess off a microwave
don't try it at home. we are professional. right?
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 ! ! !

I set it to measure resistance, accidentally stick the probes to mains. No arcing or explosion happened, but now the multimeter is completely bricked and I can't measure DC voltage, current and resistance anymore
Did you try replacing the fuse? If there was no explosion it's very likely your meter is still good
@@johnsuarez1404 As a Texan who considers smoke as a seasoning, I'd say it's ready to go.
I have one that still works 👍
Hell yea!
You pass a very high voltage on a current range even fluke will turn into ashes🙏
No, a Flluke has High Energy fuses. The old ones Project with a varistor. No flames.
@@Mr2moosenot necessarily. Varistors absorb high voltage surges but they still shunt them through tracks on the meter circuit and through it’s leads. They dissipate relatively low amounts of current for a short time period. High energy fuses have a max voltage rating that they can interrupt. The insulation on the probe handles is also limited. You’re still Fucked with a capital F if you use a 600V or 1kV fluke on 4160 or 12470 or something.
How much power did you send trough it? sounded like a welding inverter
Jammer hoor.
top notch ... greetz from germany
he ho , mark , greets to nl
Please Do Not Try Yourself!!! Is A Multimeter Fail!!!!
Why?
Thank you for the English Subtitles!

thanks for the subtitles
Does this TEE differ from the classic TEE loks run in Germany by the DB? It looks a little difference just at a glance in the front design of the engine.
there are diff kind of tee setups for different countries.
Welk museum?

I rode this delightful train from Toronto Ontario to North Bay, Ontario in March 1978. Still had the original locomotive on the front. Arrived here in the early 1970s, major overhaul to paint and winterization for Northern Ontario. Train left Timmins to go south, one left North Bay to go north to Timmins, one left North Bay to go south to Toronto, and one left Toronto to North Bay. Timmins southbound would get to Toronto and end day in North Bay. North Bay northbound went to Timmins, ending day in Toronto. North Bay southbound ended day in Timmins. Toronto northbound got to Timmins, ending day in North Bay. Next day train train set five would enter service, and train one came out for a full service; this was held at North Bay. Locos scrapped in the 1980s, 1984 seems about right. Northlander was a premium service, worth the ride.
I don't see a problem.
Nog steeds he?

Mooie trein man!!;) rijdt dit opnieuw weer of?..like : 2.18;).
Is hier ook een betere versie van?
Hallo, does the train already run again? Do you arrange excursions ?
+LeMistral Nope, the project has come to a halt.
+LeMistral I think it wont ride at all...
haha I don t understand a word - BUT - I know these trains, still own the Märklin 3071 and of course I know the legendary KRAFTWERK SONG
Roco too... Buy him one model train is okay... Lmao
I have the Hamo version of 3071, purchased it when working a summer in college when I was working for the exclusive US Marklin importer (except 11 Western States), Reeves International. The set cost me almost a week’s pay @ US$1.75/hour. Still have it 50 years later, runs great!
I'm familiar with Magnum 440 X2, but not X3. How different is it?
Geweldig mooi filmpje. Nostalgie
Well, it did eventually get to Ontario, Canada, and they speak English there.
Excellent, Mark. Thanks, Peter
Thanks !
Beautiful kitty, nice video.
