@@AaIsForAaliyas thank you , I really appreciate you for encouraging me to keep it up.
Allow your onions to caramelize first. Your other stuff can go in after. Low medium heat. You'll get a sweetened taste of them, also if you take these onions and make onion marmalade and cook them about an hour or two low heat a bit of sugar/wine /even certain juices to pair well with your beef, it'll go an extra mile. This looks really good too. When are you gonna have a restaurant?
@@AaIsForAaliyas I already did have a restaurant
@@AaIsForAaliyas I allowed the o ions to soften but wanted them crispier, both the onions and the bell pepper had a nice bite but the sweetness from the bell peppers was just right.

Small tip, never put your index finger on the blade of a knife. You get more control slightly gripping the knife by the bottom most by the handle (blade). And chopping them, you'll have a bear claw grip. Meaning the flat side of the blade will glide by your knuckles so you'll never get cut.
I normally do that except for when I’m cutting slowly, here I felt I had better control this way. I’m not a professional but don’t cut myself.
@@SLGotti to each their own sister. Your food looks awesome! Love the natural look and look forward to seeing your YT channel grow. All the best
@@AaIsForAaliyas thank you so much. Looking forward to see where this goes. I’m definitely going to practice chopping professionally. I would love to be able to do it
@@SLGotti your chops will transform into delicate brunoise cuts, maybe you'll peel mushrooms, peel the skin from Peas, cut identical shaped julienne/diced cuts, and all. It's definitely fun (kinda) but the more you can do with your knife, the more different your cooking will turn out. Don't even have me write an essay when you learn to make your own mayonnaise from scratch and you explore Aioli sauces too. Or knowing the base from mayonnaise with clarified butter can become hollandaise (egg yolks + butter (clarified) herbs over boiling water with a towel and whisk into a hollandaise using lemon Juice and cognac Tabasco. There's so much to this. And the possibilities of creating new dishes the more you explore.

This looks so good! What’s the recipe for the chicken plz?
@@mrsvaldez thank you so much. ☺️ I was very pleased with how it came out.
@@mrsvaldez I do not measure, but here is what I used. Tumeric, paprika, garlic minced, sea salt, garlic powder, Greek yogurt, olive oil, lemon, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and coriander. Marinade chicken breast for at least 45 mins and I cooked in skillet on stove top with a little extra olive oil. It made the best sauce. Hope this helps

Is that unsweetened or sweetened coconut milk? I remember having coconut shrimp at a dinner cruise in Marina Del Rey a few years ago, and while the shrimp lacked a consistent coconut flavor, the dipping sauce was fantastic. The dish you're preparing looks great, and I’m excited to experiment with that in my own kitchen. I never thought to try making this appetizer on my own before!
@@outoftimeproductionz it’s sweetened coconut. The flavor is in the batter, the Hawaiian beer, dried coconut 🥥. Not only did I make a mango salsa, I made a crushed pineapple honey sauce for dipping. The rice came out mildly sweet as jasmine rice is already a bit sweet. It all paired very well.

I must say, these Jerk Salmon Bowls with Mango Slaw are a vibrant symphony of flavors and textures that will transport your taste buds straight to a tropical paradise. The salmon, seasoned with jerk spices and garlic, brings a bold, smoky heat that perfectly balances the natural richness of the fish. The garlic infuses a depth of flavor, enhancing the salmon's savory notes and adding a subtle kick that lingers pleasantly on the palate. The bed of jasmine rice provides a fragrant, slightly sweet foundation that pairs wonderfully with the other ingredients. Each bite of the salmon is elevated by the contrasting crunch of fresh carrots, cucumbers, and the sweet, juicy mango slaw. The slaw, with its tangy and sweet notes, cuts through the spice of the jerk seasoning, offering a refreshing contrast. The creamy avocado slices add a luscious, buttery element, while the spicy mayo drizzled on top introduces a zesty creaminess that ties everything together. The cilantro, sprinkled generously, brings a burst of freshness, rounding out the dish with its bright, herbal notes. The quick 10-minute preparation makes this dish not only convenient but also a perfect weeknight treat that feels like an indulgence. Watching the video was a true pleasure, as it effortlessly captured the art of assembling such a flavorful bowl. The visual presentation was enticing, with every step carefully demonstrated, making the dish look as incredible as it surely tastes. It's a dish that bursts with tropical flavors, a true fusion of spice, sweetness, and freshness.
