I agree! I did end up fully switching my gaming PC to Linux but I still use boosteroid for anti cheat games.

@@TheBlackDon even so... there are games that you won't be able to play with boosteroid or any cloud gamming platform... and so it happens that I have one game that I like to play that falls into that category... League of legends :D So no I have to dual boot and for the other games that have kernel anti-cheat that does not solve anything that was supposed to solve anyway

@kuma8030 Yeah they did, it's pretty crazy how far it's come. Felt like a Firefox fork at first but now it feels like it's one thing.

The first tip is patience. Not everything is going to work just ootb but it's worth it in the end. First, you are very welcome! I'm glad I came across this tool. And I was using vesktop with a vencord theme and I also did have opacity in my Windows set in my Hyprland config.

@@TheBlackDon Thank you, my hyprland config opacity setting seems to only work on terminal windows and not GTK apps, but now that I know this can be done, I will research this and Vencord further.

You could use my other video "preconfigured Hyprland install" to install HyDE and configure it from there. I use cachyos but it may work on endeavouros as well.

You want to choose the session that says just "Hyprland". Depending on the distro, sometimes it installs multiple session types.

Yah know what, I appreciate your comment. A lot of others are just like why would I do that. But you are calling it out for what it is. Yes, the title is a little click-baity. That honestly wasn't my intention initially. When I first started messing with Hyprpanel that's truly how I felt about it's capabilities. After using it for a while I do still have the waybar configured and switch back and forth as it definitely takes up more resources to run Hyprpanel over waybar.

Because of how you worded this I changed my title and thumbnail. Click bait was not my intention. 😎💯

This would definitely be more of a preference. Depends on how comfortable you are with editing the dotfiles. Most of the preconfigured scripts are automatically themed based on your wallpaper. Either way is a good option imo.

I suggest the V2. The pro switches seem more gimmicky than practical. They have 2 points which can be bound to separate keybinds based on how hard you press in the key but when gaming it's not natural to think to use them.

Yup! It's 'nwg-dock-hyprland'. It's a pretty simplistic easy to configure dock for hyprland.

@@TheBlackDon, yeah, their app is really nice on phones. It's way different than the desktop version, but it has AI features that I really like. Zen browser, though, is very similar to Arc. I still prefer Arc, but Zen is a close second for me. Also, I typed Zed instead of Zen because I also recently switched from vscode to zed the code editor.

So I've had it for like 9 months and it's still going strong. I can't speak for 2 years just yet.

Thanks! 💯😎 First I was asked if you are using the proprietary driver's? You may have to update some things in your config to get the most out of your Nvidia GPU. I did experience flickering at one point but I was able to solve that. If it's not GPU related it might be how your monitors are set up in your Hyprland config. Gotta make sure it's set to the right scale and resolution for that monitor that is connected.

Note: If I use only the Dedicated GPU and set the system as work on only Dedicated GPU, only my external monitor works and it is not working low fps. My integrated laptop GPU shows only black screen.

Time will definitely tell lol I still use other browsers like edge and thorium from time to time because Zen is not chromium based but I have been using web apps for the websites I need chromium for so they open as separate Windows (apps) and I use Zen for all other browsing and web needs. I think I'm happy. For now haha 😂

Thanks! I try to keep it 💯 with my reviews and not over hype or just trash a product. All tech has a use case for somebody or it would not have made it to production. But I actually miss using mine. I've been using another one that I have a review for coming next week. But it's nothing like the razer tatartus lol different in many ways.

Haha there really aren't settings on hyprland. You have to edit the configuration file. I do have a video on that too.
