Hey BMW driven! Thanks for all the videos throughout the years. I recently buy the same arc 8s you showed in this video. For someone just lowered on H&R sport springs on a F32, and who does not want to mess with the camber or anything, would a 235/35/19 and 265/35/19 work good for me? Would be able to slap them right on?

Just curious if I do these upgrades do I have to Map ?

My catalytic is going out on my stock 2016 435i. I was thinking just replacing the entire exhaust. Is your catless?

Yes it makes a difference. I dynod before snd after on my OG M2 and it held power to redline 30bhp more than stock. It reduces turbo spool nicely and therefore response. Put a good air intake on to capitalise even more. You have to get V2.

I got 430 Msport Mperformance 19inch alloy and tires front 255.35.19 and rear 285.30.19 think to fit 18 and tires profile 40 but can't fit nothing less then 19.

Ive ran e20 mix with mhd stage2 on My 435ix but dont see or feel a difference, any ideas why?

Great videos and a very economical/efficient build with good results. With the advantage of time owners now have a clear tuning and modification path to follow for max horsepower/torque gains on stock turbo N55 (especially BM3 revisions stage 2 & 2+, flex fuel kits, XHP trans flash, Dorch HPFP, E30) while maintaining a reasonable level of reliability for daily driving, if doing your build today would you add any other mods? In addition to my intake, inlet, charge, Intercooler, downpipe, BM3, BM Flex Fuel Kit, Turbosmart BOV, new NGK 1 step, new OE Coils items done so far. 2016 435i F36 with 27k miles, very good clean car, and like your car runs good. I am conflicted whether to do the Dorch DS15 HPFP, CSF Performance Radiator, Mosselman Oil Thermostat, 3.5 Bar TMAP, XHP trans flash, given its a toss up between running fuel system at limits vs turbo at limits, both paths are not the best for performance to run at limits of any of the cars systems, and certainly not best for for reliability, so it's 400whp until something gives, or try and give it the extra supporting mods for performance "reliability". Would like to just accept reality and get a couple year old M4, or M8 but to frugal when more of a want then a need. 😁

I'm having the same issue although I'm getting some small timing corrections across the board at low rpm so I'm leaning towards fuel quality. Did you try a MAF bath? Was another thing I was going to try.

What side did you run on the tires ?

On stock hpfp did you have any fuel pressure drops. My hpfp was dropping like 1200 psi on bm3 stage 2 e30. It can barely hang with e20

Great Video, I have the same car but I‘m struggling wich dimensions I want to drive. Is your car a rear wheel drive? Did you have any rubbing issues after years with the 235/265? How much is it lowered? Greatings from Germany

Did you have any issues with your aftermarket intake hitting the hood vents? Mine didn’t allow me to fit the vent covers with my BMS intake. Do you think an eventuri intake would solve this?

Timing looks spot on just flashed mhd stage 2 B58 and got little timing pull guess its our shit fuel here in England, but will have to do proper WOT pull and might need to try 91oct might clear timing

See i have 20" wheels on my f33 and im lookong to change them becaue they crack too easily when hitting potholes, although they look beautiful, not very practical

My friends think I'm like some meth head or crazy ocd person who goes way over and behond when it xomes to detailing. I can say I was really ocd abt it but learnt you don't need to go balls to the walls eveeytime you detail. As long you keep up the maintence all you need a light refresh instead of a 2 stage exterior detail all time and thinning out the clear coat . Alsp I dont know why but , for my cars i really enjoy detailing , i really like the feeling of seeing a nice clean mirror shiny car and fresh out of the lot interior. Mind you i drove 2 dr coupes all my life, whixh is smaller to detail . Bought a suv fornmy wife due to having kids, I really didn't enjoy detailing it for some reason, it felt work since it so big, amd so muxh more surface to cover.

I have a f32 440i rear wheel drive Considering getting 19”rims and tires that are 245/35/19 fronts 255/35/19 rear (really good deal on the set up) Currently run 19” that’s 225/40R19 front 255/35ZR19 rear How bad was rubbing issues also these will be winter set up

With your car being lowered are you scraping anywhere on your exhaust?

how accurate can you say the built in hp/tq gauges are? ive got a FBO m235i xdrive on e30 and would like to know how close the gauges are to the actual numbers without having to dyno the car myself.

Buddy, thanks for posting this, and good job -- I know it took you a lot of time to whip up these eight minutes. It's not just a tuned ethanol-mixed FBO dyno run video, rather you also teach viewers who may not know too much throughout the video pertinent bits and pieces, starting with measuring alcohol content and moving on to leveraging a dyno to investigate whether you are limited by stock fuel pumps at varying ethanol saturations or maybe a stock turbo or an imperfect OTS tune in order to decide what (if anything) to throw more money at first, and you also add remarks regarding air temp/pressure/humidity being other factors affecting numbers of such a test. The dyno guys knew their stuff too, including California fuel and experience with other customer BMW runs, which makes me more inclined to make a long drive to the nearest dyno shop. While you did not go into too much depth on such things, as that would yield way too long a video, that's enough substantive scraps for those intrigued by the prospect of more power via tuning, fuel octane and/or hardware to go dig for additional information elsewhere. An outstanding public service on your part, I just had to say well done.

I installed the OEM antenna like you did, but put it in the space below the head unit .. since my phone normally lays at the space in front of the gear stick
