I planted two in my garden, one in front of the house and another in the vegetable garden. It gives off a good smell in summer and repels mosquitoes. And lavander too.

I'm sure you'll learn how to make it if you'll read WoodPrix instructions from cover to cover :)

The word karat first entered the English language in the mid-15th Century. It derived from the French word carat which in turn came from the Italian carato. The word almost certainly derives from the Arabic qīrāṭ which came from the Greek kerátion meaning Carob seed. In Greek and Roman times it was used as a unit of weight

Growing this is very easy. Just collect the seeds and sow them in the fall, and they should sprouting around January. As long as you protect the seedlings from squirrels, you can grow alot

Ah, yes, the Carob experiment of the '70s-nothing quite like the taste of nostalgia mixed with pure disappointment. I still remember that gritty, slightly bitter flavor like a bad science experiment gone wrong. It was like they tried to make chocolate... but forgot the most important part: flavor. You bite into it expecting something sweet, and instead, you get what can only be described as a "healthy" failure. Honestly, I think my taste buds are still in therapy. 🤣🤣 Great informative video though and for the flashback. :)

This was a big thing in the 70s. Carob was the new healthy chocolate. It tasted awful and nothing like chocolate. It's colored my feelings about diet and healthy foods ever since.

I'm sure that just like chocolate, there must be different varieties of carob, and different ways to process it..
