Twelve mountains are selected as the best Mt. Fuji view points in Yamanashi prefecture. Kokanasawasan mountain and Ushiokuno-gangaharasuriyama mountain are both selected and they have indeed a nice view of Mt. Fuji. You can get there with public transportation and there is a nice hot spring on the back route to JR station, Kaiyamato.

Rishirisan is the mountain of Rishiri island, Hokkaido. It is a volcano and the trail is very fragile, expecially from the 9th station of the mountain. I climbed it on 15th. July 2018, when it was very stormy.

The most popular trail starts from Mitsutoge station on the Fujikyu line, which runs between Ohtsuki and Fujisan station.
