Short queue times in pvp? I'd like to live in the same world.

@@ThoGrey Playing both healer and DPS, I’ve experienced short queue times in PvP. As a healer, it’s usually 2-5 minutes, sometimes even instant, at 2.5-3k MMR. Guess I’m lucky with my region!

At the end of the day, you can think what you want, but Cata gameplay is smoother than retail imo. Less bloat, rogues can rogue. The no-balance makes that it's not really great longterm. Wish they would decide to balance so it feels somewhat fresh from time to time. About cheaters, true. Unfortunatly.

@ we just Need wow 2 Imagine graphics and class design like retail ( every spec viable) the fast gameplay and outplay potential in a Setting Like Classic where the world is actually big, alive and worth exploring. Imagine world pvp and questing with kinda retail like classes. Dude it would be so fun

You need 2 subs to play both at the same time. And I disagree, versions are good. Thing that is a bit weird is that it canabilizes each other.

@ThoGrey ofc they do cause playerbase is so split up. Thats why i said theres too many versions. Theres no point releasing old expansions again. Thats my opinion on the matter anyway :p have a nice weekend and keep it up!

Tbh Play Marvel rivals until something happens in Retail. I know u want to do wow content but there is wow content to make besides hardcore onlyfangs stuff

I'm fine with it. Although it makes me play retail less because some versions are just better than others ( imo.). The only thing retail has over the rest is that it's ''current''. => Active balancing, you never know what's next kind of feel. The thing is for me, I'm having way more fun on the other versions.. which nullifies that sentiment that I would have on retail.

@@TheRabbit68 if you actually watch this video ( and also my others), you'd know. Also, clearly hate? I think you should watch my other videos again if you think that I hate retail. Having critique, wanting things to get better, isnt hating the game. I actually never said I disliked the game btw, i never said I hated it. The reason why I stopped retail, wasnt about the gameplay-loop but it was about the queue times and having MMR not make sense. So keep your advise, and watch the videos with a bit more focus. Hilarious to say why, when I explain clearly in this video.

No, I mean, the only reason why I would PVE in WoW is to play WoW to the fullest. I don't play a game purely for PVE, even POE Or Diablo 4.. Is hard for me to keep playing long term. I'm a pvp-purist, but I give some chance to WoW and pve a bit.

I love WoW, I just get frustrated by things that are frustrating to me. Queue times, Mmr, those are the things that make me not want to play WoW. But the gameplay is stellar. I have no issues with purely gameplay and balancing is such a thing that is varying and changing, that it won't stop me from playing. BUT having queues being long, that's what makes me log off.

I love both versions. Classic is fantastic because having a piece drop, feels significant. Retail doesn't have that, which is fine, but a weapon upgrade isn't as big on retail as it is for Wow classic. I'd even say that WW Axe on Warrior feels 1000x better than getting your conq weapon as a warrior.

@@ThoGreyThese things are meaningless for PvP gameplay though. Who cares if one piece of gear makes a difference or not? You just want to play PvP and enjoy it. By the way the way Vanilla was just makes the game slower and forces you to grind a lot. It is fun to see your power increase when you change a single item, but it’s also negative for many reasons. WoW PvP has worse issues than MMR, first because PvP doesn’t mean only rated PvP. The most fun PvP mode is still random BGs. The problem with PvP now is that the game is designed for M+ and everything is so fast and full of AoE and CCs that you barely see your character or what’s going on. Literally you just know what you’re doing because there’s health bars in the screen.

@@wyraven I think you have it wrong, it s defo not meaningless for pvp in vanilla. The grind, hardship and "lack of" in vanilla makes that any piece you have extra, will feel miles better in both pve and pvp. About the weapon analogy, its the fact that in vanilla, weapons matter because of white damage AND spells/attacks with weaponscaling. For example Mortal Strike doing the Weapon damage + a number. Now everything is about AP or SP in retail on spells, making weapons straight statsticks, removing the RPG aspect.

@@ThoGrey What I mean by meaningless is not that but that it’s meaningless to have this sort of grind or item upgrade in PvP, it’s unnecessary. Today I feel like you only notice a difference if your entire set is full, that’s annoying but it’s more consistent because when you’re a PvP player you’re not concerned with grinding for gear after you are full conquest geared. That’s why Vanilla is very good at adventure and leveling but has poor end game.

@@hattorihonzo8340 its normal, I just think they handled a hidden gem like TWW very poorly. A big part of me wants to go back to retail, but then.. i get hit by queue times, i dont even know to get in a group to do keys, no friends for 2s or 3s.

@@ttt69420 I think they should embrace solo and put it in the same queue as 3v3 and even 2v2.

@@ThoGrey so is it just storm strike and lighting bolt now? Can I remove chain lightning from my bar? I noticed that flame shock and frost shock are still there but without lava lash it kind of nullifies the need of flame shock unless you need DoT damage to prevent rogues from restealthing (assuming they have used cloak of shadows already). What about in PvP leveling from 50-80?

It's good.. but yeah it doesn't have the same pop. I'd say pop wise it's lower than retail. You could try it out tho! I personally prep for MoP Class!c

@@Nohea.e92 Yes ofc, you can level up i ncata classic and once MoP comes out, you can level those characters into MoP.

@ThoGrey I'm playing it more casually now so it feels fun. My personal goal is to get 1.8 k on the classes that get cool elite tmog :) managed to get it on my warlock and holypaladin now. :) if u feel annoyed with the game rly play something else like single player for a while and then come back and it's not that bad:) I started playing ghost of Tsushima and it has been very good I recommend it if u haven't already played it. i hit 80 on an alt yesterday and there must not be many people pvping any more because the last 4 solo i did were all 1800+ and here i am in greens lol
