@@Openyoureyes-z4c I didn't participate in the 2024 series. There used to be 3 races in Texas but they only had one this year. They usually post the schedule in late November.

@JefcoMTB i live in oklahoma so im pretty central to the races. Ive never down any mtb racing, i have motocross background though just got an older santa cruz tall boy, i wanna give it a try

All that nice flow is new. Thank God keystone is finally investing some money in their bike park again.

@@chrisfaessen1417 There's not a lot of big jumps but the freeride trails are well built and flow well. Mostly trail speed features with only a few surprises. Keystone is the perfect size for a full day of shredding!

​@@JefcoMTBya they def still have alot of work to do if they want to compete with Trestle. I really appreciate the new wooden feature at the beginning of sanitarium. Iv had my back wheel slip off the side of the old one and refuse to hit it after that.

@chrisfaessen1417 hopefully they will keep adding more rad stuff 🔥 there's plenty of real estate on that mountain for some sick freeride trails!!

I rode at the Anthills for the first time back in 1999. It's changed a lot since then. Most of the features in this video are still in good shape thanks to the dedicated crew. There's some new stuff as well. Good luck on your road to recovery. Take it easy out there!

Past the DJ's east of Wilcrest. Still about the same on that end.

It's hit or miss regarding the weather. I've been there in July, September and October and afternoon storms are common. The rain is not as much of an issue as the lightning. They shut the lift down when lightning is in the area. Storms typically move through pretty fast though.

Sugar Land has some of the most beginner friendly trails in the Houston area with some small to medium sized jumps. Get comfortable on the small jumps to build confidence then move on to some bigger ones. Good luck!

That's a great question! All three destinations are very different. It depends a lot on your riding preferences. All have jump lines but Station has a more beginner, intermediate and advanced line options. Station also has the shuttle and a great mix of beginner to advanced trails to explore. If your looking for a long day in the saddle exploring XC and enduro lines then RPR would be my choice. Spider has the lift and an assortment of trails for all skill levels. You really need to check them all out! We're fortunate to have all three only 3.5 hours from Houston. Keep on shreddin' 🤘
