this is how we get even more cheaters. id rather them make a new game with this stuff in mind using the siege stuff in a new engine and a new anti cheat from the ground up

Shifting the focus to less competitive game modes and giving the community tools to even slightly modify and create new things for the game would be amazing. Or even being able to play old removed maps from years back.

Ubisoft takes the Ranked mode way too seriously. The maps have to be competitive, the mode has to be balanced. Fewer and fewer people care. They just want to have fun. Put hostage and some old 'non-viable' maps back in and the game feels fresh again.

the thing is that it would take the fundamentals of siege being a tactical game away from the game. the meta of "fast pace run and gun" is in the game already from arcade playlist. R6 is a more realistic shooter (ex: recoil, 1 shot headshots, etc.) and should be played tactical, but if you have good aim and good mechanical movement, it can shallow the tactical play style. If you want to play a game with fast pace run and gun and no 1 shot headshot, play COD. taking away 1 shot headshot and the tactical aspect siege was created around will kill the game.

Here’s a few tips: grabbing/throwing is helpful for when you want to revive a teammate safely-just grab their little statue thing and run. The maps are large, so you’ll want to equip movement gadgets (jump pad, zipline) to get around fast And I believe the ttk is longer to encourage teams to stick close to each other. Hitting headshots reduces ttk *significantly* Also, pinging where you think the team should go and especially pinging enemies will help a lot with coordination
