Yes I have both lights running on my 09 FatBob I’m first New Zealand owner and has only 12,500 miles on it, great bikes , watched a video on one same year and this guy is just thrashing the shit out of it in a car park jumping curbs n all and it withstood the punishment, so I bought one
any chance you could send me the part number for that twin light?

High mate, what was the process for installing the tribar LED? Do you need to remove the rear fender?
Hey mate. I didn’t do that mod. I got the dealer to fit it. Just being lazy.. The rear fender does not need to be removed. The tri-bar unit just screws in through the back.

Hi Dan, it's an older thread but one question. Did those short shots come with baffles or are those pipes baffle free? I have a 2012 fat Bob with big radius and considering changing to short shots. Your bike is premo and sounds outrageous. Very nice and pristine.
Hi Marc. Thanks for watching the vid mate. Those short shots are baffle free. Nice loud note to them. It’s been a while since I have uploaded anything but the bike is still mint and looking better than ever. The Fat Bob really is an awesome bike. I still have not found anything from Harley that compares to those glory days of the Dyna. Happy riding Marc.
@@dansultimategarage5069 Thank you for the reply Dan. Just a quick question. Are you using the Vance & Hines fp3 tuner? If so, was the bike very hard to tune with no baffles and do you have a lot of deceleration pop and rough idling with no baffles?
@@mantis1962 All good mate. It was a long time ago. But I think I used a Power Commander tune. The dealer did it all for me with the in-house dyno. Software keys purchased online. The bike runs nicely with minimal pops and bangs on the over run. I am thinking that next time I do some more mods I might get a power cam installed and pay for the Screaming Eagle tune….
Thank you Dan. I appreciate your response. Your Fat Bob is the most beautiful Dyna I've seen. So thoughtfully modified. Mine had 3 other previous owners here on the east coast of America so I'm cleaning up what others did. I've opted for the Big Shots by Vance and Hines and will leave the baffles in for now due to past experience with deceleration pop and difficult air/fuel balance. Although I love the sound of a baffle free Short Shot system. It's my favorite. Are you in Australia?
@@mantis1962 thank you for your kind words Marc. Yeah I was living in Western Sydney when I shot that video. Now we are living up near the Gold Coast. I will have to do a much needed update video on the Harley.
Old clip but did you change your head light wiring so both lights are on at the same time?
Hi Peter. Thanks for watching the vid mate. Need to order a new headlight housing from the North American market. As it’s only Asia Pacific region bikes that have one light on at a time. When you get the North American housing then it’s just plug and play with the day maker LEDs. Hope this helps.

It was a while ago now. I am pretty sure I got them through MCA Auburn on Parramatta Road. They are the Vance and Hines Short Shots. I hope this is helpful.

Hey mate. I don’t have a link online to purchase the headlight. My advice would be to go through your local Harley Davidson dealer for the part number and see where you can purchase online. It wasn’t cheap through harley., but ensures you get the right parts.

The tail light is a Harley Davidson Tri Bar LED tail light. It is a genuine HD part. I hope this is helpful.

,I spend a lot of time on You tube your video blogs are worth it as it inspires others into doing mods or just getting out on the bike I was stuck looking for what pipes I had the short shots in black on my 48 did not think they would look that good on the Fat Bob but upon seeing your First blog thought they looked awesome in the Crome and sounded better than my screaming eagles so went out next day had them fitted by the evening so thank you for that keep the video blogs coming they are very good and done in away that you understand

Hey bro ime in America. An have a fat bob I didnt go with harly Davison cause come on 800 dollors just for the lights when I just orderd hogworks same thing fo 200 an they acully have more lumes rgen harkey davidson
It would have been nice if B&B offered the chain guard and the skid plate in black as well. So it matched the rear cargo carrier.
BullBars1 Hey mate! I agree with you. A black skid plate and chain guard would look fantastic. However they are high impact areas and cop a lot of rocks/sticks and other debris. So over time the nice black paint would not look so nice....

Francis Taylor Hey there. They are the stock turn signals with clear smoked lenses and amber bulbs. It is a kit from Harley Davidson. Hope this helps.

you need an exhaust and ejk controller. I installed just the filter and it slowed down my bike considerably.

I have purchased the B&B number plate holder/tail tidy and radiator guard. Will make a video of installing them soon. Last weekend I installed a full FMF exhaust system which sounds awesome and looks great. Will upload that video soon. Thanks for your support mate.

Hi bombidude. Thanks for watching the video mate. I have had a full FMF exhaust system on order since I purchased the bike. Dealers and accessories stores keep telling me that I need to wait until the end of May for it to come it. Seems pretty silly to me - waiting this long for an exhaust to be sent to Australia. I will do a video of the install with some before and after clips when it arrives. Ride safe.
