For your problem you can try snaping tool...snap target to vertices...there are lot of video in youtube about snaping object you can follow that..

Select your objects from Object mode then go to edit mode by pressing Tab (from keyboard) .. Then select two vertices from Both objects then press P from keyboard..then selecte separate from loose parts..

As you are new to Blender..think while joining many objects in complex model as sometimes it becomes difficult to separate.You can solve these small problems yourself by practicing...

@@B1Blender low poly means a low poly count, poly as in polygons. Your model looks low poly but it IS NOT low poly. It probably has over 5k tris in it after exporting to .obj. You really don't know what you're talking about and this tutorial is probably stolen from an other creator.

Maybe you are talking about texture painting, but unfortunately, I don't actually enjoy working with texture painting. Instead, I prefer working with shader nodes and sometimes Substance Painter. I love working with these two things. If you want to create something exceptional with Blender in the future, I believe you should focus on these two aspects, as I think they are superior to texture painting. But still if you want to learn texture painting please check out other tutorials on youtube! 🙂
