Racketlon is the worlds most popular Multi racket sport. Table Tennis, Badminton, Squash and Tennis combined in to one marathon. Players have strong and week sports, but each point counts, point a rally, or American Scoring to 21 in each sport. Who ever has the highest combined score wins. Matches always start with the smallest bat to the biggest racket which means the matches finish on the tennis court, if it's a draw it's a one serve only one point showdown, who will hold their nerve in the Gummy Point!

racketlons are the best man
Really insightful interview

Good effort dude
Who won?
Morten. The other dude can't catch him in total points won across the 4 sports even if he wins the next 8 points straight.
I taught Reid everything he knows
❤❤ increíble
One dude in the thumbnail looks like he's 12 yrs old.
He probably was, when the pic was taken ;-) He is ~20 today
This is world championship level Racketlon? No wonder it's a joke in the TT, badminton, tennis and squash communities. This looks like beginner level TT...
not very high, but not beginners at all in badminton or squash, they have to be the best on the 4 joined sports.
sure, dude... I bet, you would not win a total of 20 points against Ratzer in all 4 sports combined. This guy was unbeaten for years
How does the serving work, does it use the old handout system? It seems irrelevant who wins the point as to who serves?!
2 serves each Player. First from the right, second from the left side than change the serving no matter who won the Point. Thats the rule
Never heard of this. I would have loved this. I’m old now, but was good at table tennis, tennis, and squash. I thought that would mean I could pick up badminton, but I was wrong. Badminton is hard. Still seems like a great concept. I wonder how many cities in the US have these venues all together. Denver comes to mind. Actually in the Northeast there’s probably many now that I think about it, at least there are clubs that easily could if they wanted too, as they have the two most difficult ones, squash and tennis. If I were doing this now, I’d have to play an abbreviated form with games up to three points.
I’m missing something about the scoring in squash. I see one guy wins the point followed by the other guy serving. Why is that happening?
Weird isn't it?! Same in the badminton... makes me wonder which guy is which.
@@swhite1702 I think I it figured out after I watched this. Apparently they have their own scoring system for all the racquet sports to make them the same (a point for every rally) which doesn’t depend upon serving.
@@ewallt strange they don't serve from the left for an odd number score like in normal badminton.
see the comment of @tkntz4547 : "2 serves each Player. First from the right, second from the left side than change the serving no matter who won the Point. Thats the rule"
Don't go to Russia be better
its not russia thats the problem and its people. its putin. youre weird for thinking that the people in russia are horrible human beings for something that they havent even done. putin not the people. and im not even for russia so im not based i just know.
Stærkt ratzer
Tennis seem to be their worst sport of the 4?
Is the most difficult
@@deusexmachina9391 I know :-) I play racketlon from a tennis background and while I can score a number of 'lucky' points on their best sport (where they vastly outskill me), there virtually is no such thing as lucky points against a tennis player who vastly outskills you.
@@Funkytrip73 You have it wrong. A squash pro can easily beat you 21-0 (as long as the pro is allowed to keep the ball warm- which should be in the rules). There are no lucky points. However, I can ace you and you can do nothing about it on the tennis court.
@@opensourcecurrency You can't ace a pro tennis player if you lack the skill to produce a 200km/h service. If you state there are no lucky points in squash (what if the ball bounces on corner edge?), then you can't state you are able to hit an ace. Oh well, the reality is that in both tennis and squash you can have net balls or corner edge bounces. Let's keep it at that ;-)
Where is it ? Beautiful courts !
Its in Enskede in Stockholm, Sweden :)
We need this in America!
Great concept, great job! Bring it to the people, they won't have to come. Only in Europe, the home of forward thinking. Love it.
Great concept, great job! I have dreamed about this type of thing even before the World Rackets Championships were played years ago (80's) when Borg won it once. As a racket sports fanatic and player it excites me immensely to see that someone has the vision to put this together in Europe and wish they would do it in the U.S. It makes great sense to bring it to the public in malls etc. where there already are crowds of people and the facilities offer nice vantage points to watch from as they eat.
