Remote control tractor made from broken toys electronics | RC John Deere Tractor
มุมมอง 1.4Kปีที่แล้ว
In this video I used electronic parts from my son's broken toy car and installed them in the tractor which I bought for $20. Although the steering servo from the car was too big to fit into the tractor, so I used a brushless mini servo. The electronic system was not fully proportional so to make the servo compatible I had to run it without the plate. Steering turns are not very smooth but it is...

In this video I upgraded the plastic steering knuckle hubs and link rods to metal ones. I also fitted 1/8th scale giant wheels on this 1/10th scale RC car and finally a new white body which gave the car a whole new look. Hope you guys will enjoy this video.
Impossible Hill Climb!!! JLB RC Car
มุมมอง 2.4Kปีที่แล้ว
We drove JLB in kids' playground near our home. First I thought it would be an easy climb but it struggled to climb the steps in forward. However, it climbed in reverse like it was nothing. I think it could be because of weight distribution or less grip at rear tyres as they are worn out more as compared to the front ones. Will try this climb again with 1/8th scale wheels in next video. Stay tu...

The shafts were bent so badly that they were touching the shock absorbers. Just straighten them up instead of replacing. Music: AudioTrend

Where did you order the spare parts?
What is the quality of the chettah components in the long term? Does it have reliable and durable electronics? Can the chetaah withstand many cycles, perhaps 100 uses at 3s, of play over the years and get spare parts for it? I have seen many promotional videos for this cart, but none of them talk about the long-term durability of the electronics and materials, although I recognize that this car is more entertaining because of the speed it reaches! greetings Does the buyer usually buy it for the differential features and central features that other truggys do not have?
It’s been more than three years of owning this car and I have had zero problems with its electronics including the controller. Still runs strong. However, there are few parts that break with bit rough handling such as spoiler wing, steering knuckles and front upper control arms if having a head on collision which is very common in RC cars I believe. Also, I’ve replaced rear differential gear once so far which I have tempered now. Every single part of this car is easily available online. It’s perfect for high speeds, can take really high backflips provided you land it safely otherwise you’ll definitely break something. You can’t compare it with Traxxas X-max for durability. Overall it’s a good truggy at affordable price and really fun to drive.
nice work , ever do the center diff upgrade
I agree totally with your disclaimer at the beginning of this video regarding the stress the oversize tires would put on the stock components. That is why I am hesitating to purchase larger tires for my 11101 or my 21101. They would look good, but...
That’s true but if you want some fun for short runs you can go with bigger wheels. These are toys after all :). You can heat treat the differential gears, that will help avoiding damaging diffs. I have done mine, they are fine so far. Enjoy.
I just did the exact upgrade to my JLB 21101, except I replaced the diff housings and the upper and lower suspensions arms also. I am also looking for some larger tires than the stock versions. I am stoked by the looks of your J3 with those meaty monsters. I am hesitant to order because of the possibility of having a 'fit problem', especially when it comes to steering. Yours appears to be okay. Any problems steering?? Maybe I should order some axle extenders?? Thanks.
That’s great to have metal diff housings and arms, have that in mind for my future upgrade. Talking of these monster wheels, I have experienced no problem with steering. There is enough clearance between the body and the wheels, no extenders needed. It’s because wheel hex has been positioned similar to original wheels while designing. Thus, the width of wheels doesn’t affect the clearance. However, there are some cons of having bigger wheels you can check on my “Hill Climb”video. Thanks for visiting my channel.
Awesome upgrade..looks like moster ...where did you buy that wheels from?
Thank you. I bought these from AliExpress. Link to buy: a.aliexpress.com/_mrh7E3i

When can I get the up grade at
Queda muy bien el único problema es que los engranajes no lo resisten.. hay que darle suave...
Thanks for the feedback Daniel. Yeah that’s a problem with high speed cars. It’s bit hard to go smooth at lower speed. They are more stable at higher speed.
