Jadranovo is a Croatian coastal village based in the hole between the Drivenik mountains and the island of Krk. Usually very quiet and peaceful until 1983. The end of this year will change everything! One unusual baby was born in this village. Some older villagers used to ask her, "What language will he speak?" Is it African? He was growing fast with them and tried to become somebody but he was still too young to know the difference. Church was part of life in this small community. Sunday mass was mandatory for all elementary schoolers. His friend Borislav Radic and himself got bitten by two much older boys. Kristijan Sipek and Mario Geric. Every Sunday after mass they have been chased and bitten in many ways. They took their small heads and slammed one into each other! Just imagine bells in their heads. This kind of behaviour continues for years. Wherever he gets on them. A few years passed and it was time to change village school and traveling with bus was every day life! New nightmare began for little boy. New crew in the bus appeared and start punching him on head and body, kicking him out of the seat and pointing him at his place for black people! That happened during the most important time in the childhood and turn his life! Today they are honest people with traditional family values! Davor Segulja was the leader of the group Igor Bojcic, Lovorko Grzac, Veselko Mutavgjic, Bojan Muzevic and Ivica Grzac. This is group of individuals who are committed to their older friends and tradition of beating small kid can continue and unfortunately for him it was. For next 3 years he took beating regularly and everywhere where this group appears. Also as well his mother Nada Kovacic becomes a monster and start with her own and sick kind of childcare. All kind of beating, from branch untill chair leg over military belt, belt on stripes, Waking up in the middle of the nights, beating when learning, hard beating for -A on some exams, hardly working in forest on timber, construction work and everything during elementary school! Hopefully Jadranovo will change with new generations and make it much better place for all people! Please become better people and world will become much better place for you! Jakovari dragi!
