Thank you for making this video! I tried getting my first coffee job this summer and unfortunately I heard back from people, but didn’t land anywhere. Being in school is so tough sometimes and it gets tricky. 😢

Good tips... hey question, when the Barista say the same words every morning or the time she she you. Kind of repetitive, is because she was trained that way? gosh. Same here, I started my first barista job last year and soon will be finishing my contract. I was as well zero experience about everything but, I have learnt from my superiors along the way and now I can finally say I am a Barista ❤🎉
Heyyy, I have to find you for a while. I miss 4 month ago I had a first trial as a newbie Barista in Australia. And I didn't know how to keep calm, then I fond your video, it helped me alot to get a job. as you mentioned, building the relationship with customer is always top of the interesting things in this fields. I'm brand new to these videos and I never go to coffee shops but I was thinking of working at Peet's coffee or Starbucks. I'm moving to a new town so I need to find something.

Can you please help me? I have seen from few months their is a requirement of a barista in my city(Kolkata, India) on their website. I applied through website without giving resume, because there was mentioned to not necessary to add resume for barista post. I got a reply from them after 3-4 weeks that I got rejected. I am thinking to visit Starbucks. If I am visiting their restaurant, so will I have to give the interview on the same day or they will fixed the interview on any other day? There are 6-7 Starbucks located in different parts of my city and I don't know which Starbucks outlets is hiring, that's why I am thinking to visit every outlet. Do you have any idea how to get the information to know which outlet is hiring? I am preparing from 2 weeks without knowing will I be able to get thejob or not.
@@Sangita_Jaiswal I believe that if you apply at Starbucks you can select whichever store and you can select multiple stores. I think, you can apply to all of them

Me and my bestfriend walked into the same starbucks like we alwayssss do.. and this dude threw his watercup on the ground, or coffee, I don't remember. But it was a huge mess and he made such a commotion. The poor manager had to apologize to us and offered us two free drinks because we witness a crazy man upset for - no idea, we showed up late. heh.
People get wild in the coffee shops 😂
