Focus Window Motor Replacement 2012-2018
มุมมอง 6K2 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I changed my driver's side power window motor on my 2012 Ford Focus S! I was learning as I went, occasionally using the repair manual for insight, but I hope this visual tutorial is helpful to you!
Skyline Drive and Tour of Phoenix, AZ
มุมมอง 932 ปีที่แล้ว
Having been in Phoenix for a while, I realized I really haven't made a video of the skyline here. So here's a drive through downtown, uptown, and the Biltmore area, finishing at the GCU campus in West Phoenix.
US 89 Between Page and Cameron, AZ

Plains to High Desert in TX
มุมมอง 322 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a quick video covering roughly 4 miles of I-10 in Crockett County, TX between Ozona and Sheffield. Just east of the Pecos River, the landscape changes drastically from green plains full of mesquite trees and shrubs to a very dry and arid high desert with lots of buttes. This video captures that change in landscape.
Camelback Mountain Drive
มุมมอง 2382 ปีที่แล้ว
Took a brief drive up Camelback Mountain. Some of these homes are absolutely insane! Also the steep grades on the one switchback are insane, easily close to 45º. Overall a beautiful little detour that not many people go on!
2012 Ford Focus Walkaround Tour
มุมมอง 5402 ปีที่แล้ว
A friend of mine wanted me to do a vehicle walk around for a final he had in school, so here it is! A little tour and short test drive of my 2012 Ford Focus that I have personally owned since March of 2020.
Apache Trail--Unpaved Section Only
มุมมอง 513 ปีที่แล้ว
In this video I only took portions of the unpaved section of the Apache Trail on AZ-88. The road is narrow and winding, and in many places very rough. It can be traveled with a normal car I took the trip in my manual 2012 Ford Focus, but having a truck is probably more ideal.
US-60 Eastbound between Globe and Show Low, AZ: Incredible Scenery!
มุมมอง 1.1K3 ปีที่แล้ว
Some friends and I were en route from Phoenix to Holbrook, and along the way we took US-60 through Globe and Show Low. The section going through the mountains in Gila County here was spectacular! Lots of hairpin turns and steep grades, making it an absolute blast to drive! Especially in a manual lots of shifting around every turn. This video was of course filmed with my Rove R2-4K dash cam in m...

I took a nice evening drive out to Globe, Arizona in my 2012 Focus. The country here is absolutely amazing.
Arizona 87 Phoenix to Payson
มุมมอง 8253 ปีที่แล้ว
I took a very scenic drive from just outside of Phoenix to Payson and back along AZ-87. Here is the footage from my dash cam! I was driving my 2012 Ford Focus, and while some of the steep inclines were a little difficult, the car did very well.

Amazing tutorial. Not many people seem to know the proper process for doing this, glad I could learn the right way! Thanks for taking your time and showing us the proper way with many easy to use understand explanations. Cheers to saving some money too !🎉😅
What was the green hand tool you used to pop the plate off at the beginning?
Thanks for the video just changed mine today really helped alot. Much appreciated 😊
🌳 puller 🤔😂
My passenger window isn't rolling down. Should I buy just the motor alone? Or just spend the extra few bucks and get the whole regulator?
Hello, thanks for your video, I learned a lot, but I have a question, after changing the coolant, there will be air left in a certain part of the pipe, where is the valve to discharge the air, I saw some cars have a bleed valve next to the expansion tank, but I can't find it on the Focus car, do you know where it is or how to solve the problem of air being trapped in the pipe? I think this is very important, thank you
Is it possible to get to that drain without a car Jack?
I have a 2000 Sunfire and the manual says if you just drop the pan it will only require 4 quarts?
what are the resistor on top of your trunk for?
Thanks for video..anyone else’s steering wheel torn up just from normal use? I’m wondering if it’s because of hand sanitizer use
It’s 2024 , I just save myself 150 bucks 😎
I said it in the sneaker guy voice 😂😂👌
So it's single motor, not dual?
I want it, I have a 1992 Olds silhouette. it has 129,00 original miles
En español no hay comentarios???
Very, very nice video!
1. He did this exactly the way Ford service data says to do it. Service data also states: “Less than 80% of coolant coolant capacity can be recovered with the engine in the vehicle.” 2. If you cycle only water through, you’ll be left with water ONLY trapped inside the block & your dilution will be WAY off the mark. 3. If you’re insistent on a full flush with the correct mix ratio at the end, you’d have to leave the radiator drain open & run the engine while continuing to pour your mixed or pre-diluted coolant into the degas bottle for a good bit to ensure no remaining old coolant exists. 4. In regards to the questioning of the mixing of coolants. Ford approves this. You cannot even buy the orange coolant from Ford anymore because it was discontinued. A video explaining the coolants: th-cam.com/video/o1pz05j4uWE/w-d-xo.htmlsi=US6Utn5bp8W_aQOY Great video done the way the manufacturer explains it in service data. Great job!
Very helpful video. Thank you. I have a 94 Sunbird Coupe 2.0 and a 97 Sunfire Coupe 2.2 both with 3 speeds.
Awesome tune-up work and instructional video. Very well explained. Will this all be the same for my 2016 Ford Focus Titanium 2.0L? Including for the manual transmission oil change and STP intake cleaner? Also, how about the fuel filter? Would this be good to replace also?
You got a manual Titanium? Those are super rare, nice!! Yes, should be the exact same! Also I am pretty sure the fuel filter is inside the fuel pump on the Focus and it isn’t serviceable.
dude we asked about a flush, is there more
Excellent video
I know the eu diesel version have a small pipe with valve so u remove the air from engine block. By the way this is just half flush u did the other half is inside engine block
In need of driver's side door and fender. Hiw much?
Where is the engine drain plug?
There isn’t one. You don’t drain the engine block on a cooling system service. Ford service data literally reads, “Less than 80% of the coolant capacity can be recovered with the engine in the vehicle.”
That's dumb, most other vehicles have them. @@DownRange02
Very nice video. However you could've disconnected the negative terminal by unbolting the black wire that's connected to the chassis. It'll kill power to the car. I also would've upgraded to the wheel with cruise control.
Is that really possible? Are the necessary connections even there?
@@eduards_mellups Yes it's just a chassis ground, if you disconnect it, it'll kill the circuit and kill power to the car entirely. You can add cruise control by getting the wheel with the buttons and using FORScan I'm pretty sure.
You mixed to different coolants. It is not an appropriate way, even though both are organic. I advise that circulate pure water inside the whole cooling system and refill

wasnt there a black buick skyhawk that was turbo charged, might of been a t typ
They’re not bad. They’re great cars, but I think that the B and G-bodies were way better.
Thank You!
Can just use the prediluted coolant instead of the concentrated coolant? Thanks!
Yes you can, it's just cheaper to cut it yourself.
Is it still there? I need some parts!
Sadly this junkyard rotates inventory about once every two months and this was there years ago now.
Sad to see it go, but thank you for replying. Where is that junkyard?
Why tf is this so easy?
Great video. Looks easier than I thought. Thanks!.
ahhhh famous last words before an absolute disaster lol
Yeah it's a messy job. I have an '01 Sunfire and I've changed it twice but last time was about 10 years ago, so it's due.
I was waiting for a tornado to pop it's top out from behind a house and yell "boo". Lmao
Not good. Only half (1 gal) of the coolant got changed. I want to change ALL of it.
Muchas gracias, no sabia donde se podia agregar el aceite de la caja de transmision manual.
will a steering wheel with buttons work for the cars without the buttons on the wheels, will the buttons still function
fixed my window, thanks to your video!
What did you buy?
Hello, just so you know the Orange is an OAT type coolant that is same as GM's Dex-Cool according to a dealer. The new Yellow from Motorcraft is actually a P-OAT coolant which is the same coolant type as the Asian carmakers. Except is dyed yellow-green. Ford should had switched to P-OAT back in 2002. But instead they switched from one coolant to another and finally the best coolant.
Buen video y muy bien explicado gracias.,👍
I had my Grandma's 1987 Skyhawk Coupe. 4-speed manual, no a/c, no power steering, Notta, but it had cruise control and covered headlights. I've always loved the look of it.
I agree with comment below. You need to flush with distilled water at least 2 to 3 times, getting the thermostat open and circulating. Get fluid clear and then drain and fill with new antifreeze/coolant to correct ratio. I feel your method is poor and a waist of time.
I don’t think it’s poor and a waste of time. He’ll just need to do the process several times to get a solid transference of new fluid in the system.
Smoking like my coworkers😂
Would I use the duel clutch fluid on my 2012 Focus se manual transmission? Had a hard time finding that out….
Next time, I'd perform the fuel service cleaning /before/ the oil change.
Living in Austin, Texas, (where the temperature is hotter than heck) I really appreciate you changing your anti-freeze with snow on the ground!
Great video. I have a ‘13 Focus 5 speed and also believe it’s a great and economical car. I did a drain and refill in ‘17 using Orange and distilled water. Did a drain and refill in ‘21 using Yellow and distilled water. No issues
I need that front filler panel. Can you help me out? LOL
Does the 12 focus have a fuel filter?
