@@DotxxHackxxSword I haven’t had it crash by doing these full loops. I have seen it crash if you pick up and drop the dragon fire rapidly from one spot, however - so slower loops are safe :)

As soon as your shroud went up he didnt attack or use any of the 3 moves he ran back to mid stayed there until phase 2 started times he should have attacked and he didnt running back to mid imo to each his own

@@robertsnowden-cu1fr Aether shroud is how speedrunners do the boss fight, and he did try attacking when i was out of aether shroud (note in Phase 3 he jumps at me)

@@storms13 ambient zombie spawns, spore island parasites, dug up vermin, and tonovsky’s resonator vermin all add to the round total :)

​@PizzaHeister thats mad you getting frame drops like that in game too or is it just like a recording bug? Cause if it's in game that's probably more towards your ram speed maybe just being the issue could be fixable.

@ In this game in particular, it wasn’t laggy at all in game - but… having said that, if I play BO6, and have a few chrome tabs open (and tab out of BO6 a few times) the game becomes impossibly laggy ;-;

@@PizzaHeister yeah fair enough I figured it must be a recording bug after finishing watching it. I get the same issue with Chrome if I run fullscreen instead of fullscreen windowed. Should see if you can perfect this run more and make it faster anywhere cause you were cooking in this with some strats I haven't seen anybody use yet in a run. No super sprinters in the boss fight looked bliss though 🤣

Honestly just noticed that just now; i have absolutely no idea why. It may have been from the game forcefully taking away the points i gained from the orb cannister, but i have no idea. The game isn't spliced as it's from a full stream (getting the trials are so luck based streaming into trim would be easier). I'll do some research and get back to you on this o7 Edit: The same happens with HEROxGoelden's run using the same strategy. I feel like the game may forcefully take points from you in order to open up the door in spawn. His run he loses 2750 points when entering the bossfight (7995 - 5245), whilst I lose the exact same amount (10090 - 7340). So the game must be taking points to open a door / multiple doors to make the boss fight arena fully accessible.

<3 None of my content is spliced so it was definitely a surprise to see your comment (i didn't even catch it when i played this run all those years ago) :P but yeah i'm almost certain it'd be the doors, as even a few speedruns lose points when entering the boss fight. I believe... the boss fight may force all doors to be purchased, as a failsafe to prevent any death barriers from occuring :D Round 10 is still super good though! Typically low rounds like these are mostly optimisation for optimisation's sake - typically resulting in games that require hundreds and hundreds of hours of reset attempts, unfortunately :P

Except it is for solo? Starting to upgrade the sword on round 1, with 1 arch-ovum charge per round = 4 rounds, then flag takes another 4 rounds, but you can start the flag on the last arch-ovum round (essentially meaning 3 fresh rounds), which pushes you to round 7 for the boss fight, of which doesn't auto-push rounds. You may be mistakenly thinking I'm claiming a speedrun world record, which isn't true, nor do i advertise it as such... but rather as a low round world record :)

It's rarely useful in non-rng modified situations due to how lucky you need to be to get the vault in the bedroom (+ no guards to spot the bags when they're thrown down it). Lots of older heists have cool mechanics like this though :D ♥

Cool! I can see it work well if you have another player to grab the bags when they fall down. Plus, I usually reset if i don't get bedroom anyways lol.@@PizzaHeister
