You just wasted oil. That oil could of went another 20k miles
The speed settings are for tightening onky, not loosening
1:34 bro he’s stressed to the point he can’t move. Also, DONT FEED A FISH AFTER YOU BUY ONE
1:00 bro stop and don’t grab him like that, ur ripping his coat off and that is not an indoor pond, more like a CONTAINER USED FOR KITCHEN UTENSILS.
So JB Weld Xtreme Heat is junk. Thanks for the review.
No, Don't do this with any oil(Including Amsoil).Always change it at 5k miles with the filter. 3rd generation mechanic and engine builder.
I hate them screws 😂 annoying to remove
Thanks, a good demonstration and to the point, im excited to get mine!
I think continous movement and vibrations from the engine, doesnt help...
Don't buy a used car if this guy was the previous owner! Those were great Honda engines it's a shame he's letting it die
love the video helped out a lot
Thank You!
Awesome thanks
Thank you. Although at some points i found this slow and over explained i did learn. I never knew how to crimp, nor which side. I do watch videos to learn about things So thanks and people “don’t always be in such a rush, learn properly at the beginning saves tremendous time in the future “
Thanks for the comment. As far as slow and over explained, I definitely understand. This video was in my early days when I first started posting on TH-cam. I have noticed a lot of my videos are longer than needed. I'm still learning as I go and trying to make better and shorter videos whenever possible.
Wow. Thank you so much for this veejio. I spent twenty two minutes trying to figure how to open the thing before I remembered we have internet.
Glad it helped you. Thanks for watching!
Put some Shrimp fried rice into the engine
20 k miles it’s too long 6-10 k miles are most common and perfectly fine intervals Those 3-5 are unnecessary short
You should change your oil (+filter) every 5-6k miles, and the air filter every time.
@weirjf Air filter every 5 or 6,000 is overkill, 20,000 miles or so on a air filter is good.
Oh no....NOT Fram!! BTW: I also do 20k service on my Cummins but I only use Ams-Oil products. Goin' strong to 354,000 miles until it was totaled. I was running at 90% hwy miles which is far less harsh than city-driving.
Thanks for sharing your story!
Take care of the transmission on that Honda. It will probably give you problems before the engine. And maybe you should change the oil more often. At least keep it full at all times.😊
Thanks for the tip. I been doing transmission fluid change about every 40,000 or 50,000 miles.
you took 2 years life away from your engine brainiac
Remarkable.
I’ve done an oil analysis on the same car with the Honda R18 engine. The most you want to go on the oil change is 12,000 miles max.
Great experiment, Great video💯👍🏾
Thank You!
Is your 20k miles highway miles or city miles? Would make a big difference.
Mostly city driving. Probably 10% highway, little more or less.
eMOTIONAL Damage!
Its interesting to see all the hate, frequent oil changes seem to just be a north american thing, apparently in europe 12-20k km is considered normal for an oil change. I have the previous generation honda also with an R18, my manual states an interval of every 12k km but i prefer not to push it. Only real criticism i would have is to be wary of those Fram oil filters, up here in canada theyre notorious for clogging, not sure if the US market ones are any different.
Thanks for the comment. Have a good day.
Also, thanks for the Fram Oil Filter information I might look into it.
Don’t even have to watch the video. 20k, stupidest idea ever
It wasn't my idea to begin with. A bunch of people decide to create 20,000 miles oil and a lot of stores decide to sell them.
Get an oil analysis plz
TH-cam is sanctioning p0rn now? 😉
Hey, great video man! I would just say a similar thing as others are saying. It all depends on how you drive and also which gasoline you use. You shouldn’t go passed 10K mile OCI, but even if you don’t, also start using Top Tier gasoline. The Motor Oil Geek made a video about it and he said it’s as important as oil when it come the the health of your engine. Just regular at Shell, Valero, Costco, Exxon and a few others is fine. Top Tier has a website finder and a lot of times the gas is actually cheaper than the neighboring minimum additive gas stations.
Thanks for trying to help out.
This interval your running is pretty stupid.
Good luck whenever you need a new motor LOL.
lol it's already near 300,000 miles I'm considering buying a new used car.
I would never buy a used vehicle that couldn't prove 5K mile oil changes (3K for turbo engines) & transmission fluid services every 30K. Probably why I have never purchased a used car.
20,000 miles is WAY too long.
This video has to be a joke
@motorcitymanman7711 crazy isn't it
@@tkto13 probably lol🤣
Yikes. Start saving for engine replacement.
Ok if most of your driving is highway
Most driving are city.
You can do what you like but ill take an oil change every 5k miles, these modern low viscosity oils degrade due to heat pretty quickly, and will leave baked-on oil all over the inside of the engine with prolonged changes.
To me this motor sounds noisy. My 2001 Toyota is far quieter with the same HP. Less miles though.
R18s are really prone to lifter noise, my 2009 has 380k km and has had its oil changed every 5k-8k km its whole life and is noisy as well. Its hard to tell exactly how noisy the engine is in the video though, such noises sound very different through a phone microphone, especially in an enclosed garage.
I have a 2000 Toyota Camry and the Camry seems to sound better. I was checking out a 2023 Toyota Corolla at the dealer about a month ago and the 2023 Toyota Corolla was about the same or more noisy than this Civic.
Great vid! What happened to your Civic with the cracked exhaust manifold?
No,,,,I change oil every 4000 miles,,,,,,
I let go of that car many years ago. I think it was 2017 or 2018.
Bro I use the same thing. Good oil!!!!
OW-20 is the only part that matters, and that stuff is crap

Wanna di my engine
I never use torque wrench plis help me
Great video! Is there a certain height I should lift the tire? And any vids on actually changing tires you could do? Thanks!
For tire change I usually just lift until the tire is about two inches off the floor. Unless you are changing to bigger wheel, then you probably want to lift higher up. Let me know if you want to see a tire changing video I might do it.
@@WelkingVueyes please I’d love to!
I'll try to post up a video in a few days.
Lower speed probably means more torque not less power.
I have another video of a Bauer Impact Wrench. The lowest speed could not loosen lug nuts, but the higher speed could. On this video the higher speed was able to loosen the lug nuts with more ease.
@@WelkingVue oh ok then thanks for the info. I’m thinking about getting one at Walmart right now. They’re on clearance for $49.
@@Trple777 Mine was on clearance too at Walmart, but it was $35.00, I guess different location, so different clearance price.
