Webinar description: For world language teachers, especially those who teach multiple levels, a key question is how to develop students’ proficiency across grade levels and proficiency Checkpoints. In this webinar, the presenter will invite teachers to rethink the use of authentic resources as a tool for proficiency development from Checkpoint A through Checkpoint C. She will show how authentic resources, when paired with standards-based learning tasks and assessments differentiated by proficiency target, promote proficiency development. Participants will come away with strategies for using authentic resources creatively across the Checkpoints and ideas for saving time in planning.
