If the Wolverine MovieMaker start acting erratic where it may start working right after you plug the power or no response from buttons then the sensor under the pin that pulls the film is clogged with dirt that came out of the film. Please, use a compressed air can and blow air left and right of the pin. Please, clean the film using a lint free cloth before scanning to minimize this issue.

My unit stopped copying files from CD , it keeps saying cd burn done, press enter , it just quickly goes through the process of burning cd , by ten seconds it does not complete 1 of 100 process , to complete it must complete 100/100 Any one know what’s wrong with the unit ?
Piece of crap! After hours of trying to get this POC to work I threw it in the trash. One more gadget to take people's money!
I just bought one and the scans of 35mm positive slides are not in focus. I opened it up and found the lens is on a threaded mount but looks like it has been glued or at least thread-locked in place. Has anyone else dealt with one out of focus? Any tips? I may break the lens loose and see whether it can be adjusted, because it can't be used like this. Thx

Thank you so much for the very detailed instructions! This video made much more sense than the little instruction booklet!
This machine can only take still images from 8mm. it cannot convert them into movies. You need the Wolverine MovieMaker machine to convert 8mm and Super 8 into digital videos.
How do you make the 8 mm film digitalized so you can watch the movies?
Bought this---it is a piece of crap. I have sharp negatives but do not get sharp scans! Real disappointment. Understand why it is "on sale". $159.00 wasted.
Great speakers, I’ve had them in the past. Have new set and sound like they are under water
are there any files I can download that are captured from this device at its highest resolution and bitrate?
can you upload pics straight to the computer with out saving to sd card?
p̷r̷o̷m̷o̷s̷m̷ 💪
where can i find a link to purchase please
Amazon or Wolverine data.com
I have one and stored carefully for a couple yrs. Now the light works but the buttons don't. How disappointing.
you never mentioned what kind of cable you need to connect to tv
it would be nice to know what editing program to use after converting your 8mm film
I Have this product, where can I find firmwares to update it ?
не могу подключить к ТВ
Ok
Inexpensive but you can spend forever converting a movie. Better to get the Super 8 Reel to Digital with auto loading feature.
I am having issues with pairing remote with system
I have the 14 megapixel scanner. It is stored, tried to scan slides but results are far from decent.
Very very nice radio 😉
Buuut... is it any good?? A review or image to see for ourselves would make this video worth watching!
I've used mine with good results, but that was four years ago. I'm back to see how to operate this again. Good simple instruction here, but I already gave a thumb up four years ago. ;-)
Thanks
1 thing missing DAB no good without
Using this model I converted 35m slides. I want to use these in a slide show on an 10ft x 10ft screen. Will the images show clearly?
This is utterly infeasible as a way to digitise cine film. You need to capture every single frame, then assemble them. This will take a very long time advancing the film manually. I'm sure this not the product's objective. It is to capture selected, single still images from the film.
Wow this would be hard work
Problem with 110 film is it tends to be wide screen and most ways to get images off 110 negatives cuts off a part of the image.
The HDMI feature is iffy at best.
Why select positive? Most color Super 8 film made today is negative. Pro8mm supplies Pro8-88 reversal made by Agfa (200 speed), Wittner-Kinotecnic supplies Agfachrome RSX-II (same 200 speed), Spectra Film and Video supply Agfachrome 200D, and Kodak has announced the return of Ektachrome E100 later this year. But it's still a basically negative market. Getting a good image off a negative requires a lot more processing than a positive, and the dynamic range is better. Certainly, we must have some negative thinking here. Update 08/01/17 : I just got off the phone with Wolverine, and they say they going to release a negative capable version of the Super 8 scanner before Christmas 2017. They say it will use a machine vision sensor with narrow band color filters to avoid color overlap, and a new software package. The cost will be about $350. It does not yet have a model number, but one technician said he heard it might be called the Film2Digital MovieMaker Pro. It will use a cheap plastic film gate and plastic lens, like the current model, but anyone with a Sherline and a little ingenuity could improve it.
I think the dislikes are a little unfair. This device is obviously not designed for digitalizing super 8 and it really does a fantastic job at digitalizing 35mm film and dias, so don't judge it by a task it is only secondarily designed for. Also: Nice tutorial.
Thank you for clear explanation !
You're way better off with a light table and a DSLR.
Do you have an adaptor for the Wolverine F2D Mighty that I can use for my 120 & 220 roll film (I don't remember the technical name for it. used in Mamiya 645)
Sorry, we don't support 120 or larger film.
Thank you for responding. For the record, I'd like to say, this video is the perfect speed. I used the video the first time out of the box and did everything just as the video shows. I like to have it on if I haven't used it for some time to refresh my memory. Better to fast than to slow like most videos! It also makes it easier to forward to the spot you need without completely missing it!
Oops I meant better to slow than fast!
Can this device scan uncut/unmounted 35mm slide film?
Yes
lost me at double a batteries
They can plug into AC
I may get it. Would have been nicer if it used Yellow, Magenta, Cyan rather that Red, Green, Blue for color correction. What kind of exposure does the duplicator use? just wonder if touching the unit while converting may produce blur. How big is the sensor (CCD or CMOS?)? Thank you.
Nice presentation. Thanks. I have close to 1000 slides I want to convert to digital images, most of them of my son as a baby and young child. He is now a grown man. Based on the reviews I read of devices out there, the Wolverine F2D Mighty seems to be the best one out there unless you want to spend a small fortune. I got it on Amazon for about $130. This video does a nice job of explaining how to properly use the device.
If Picasa no longer exists, how to create a movie on it after transferring with Wolverine? Picasa WAS an image organizer and image viewer. In July 2004, Google acquired Picasa. On February 12, 2016, Google announced it was discontinuing support for Picasa Desktop and Web Albums, effective March 15, 2016, and focusing on the cloud-based Google Photos as its successor.Picasa Web Albums, a companion service, was closed on May 1, 2016.
Oh Hell No!!!
I just purchased the F2D through B&H and am anxiously awaiting its arrival. The reviews posted here are most helpful in not building up my expectations. Considering the price point vs. other alternatives (including professional transfer costs of .25 - .65 cents/foot) I think I will be satisfied. If the 2 megapixel image sensor is deficient, I might try to swap it out with my GoPro Hero 4 camera with 8 megapixels. Though it's cheaply built from all indications, I hope it can withstand some modifications.
I can't think of anything more beautiful!!! I can tell you're voting for Hillary.
Hello, is the adapter 110V or 220 volts or dual?
Dual 110 to 220
Is there an easy way to scan the sprocket hole area of an 8mm film? Can I use a larger adapter, but will it keep it centered or will I have to keep moving it around? I want to scan the entire area for each frame.
Cool
SERÁ QUE ALGUÉM PODE ME FORNECER OS DADOS DE REPRESENTANTES DESTA EMPRESA NO BRASIL OU COMO ADQUIRI NO EXTERIOR?
I would plug the power cable into the unit first...then connect the other end to the power source. A common and preferable way to connect power to any device. Otherwise...great video!
