Why does the machine not come with a pid control from the factory?

Hi, I'm currently waiting on my Gaggiuino parts to arrive... can you tell me how the timing works for the shots? Do you still hit the brew switch off to stop the shot? Or does the machine stop automatically as per the selected profile. I'm just wondering what happens if a shot is running slightly faster / slower. I'm not adding the hardware scales in my build.

Gaggiuino is totally useless, unless you are a computer geek or smartphone addicted. There is no proper espresso brewing than a traditional taste and experience, that the electronics wont give you. There are two many options, starting from a proper grinding your coffee beans. Do not tell me that gaggiuino will tell you this. I moded my GCP to the limits. PID, internal and external boiler temperature , steam and brew, water flow control on demand , low tray to accommodate a scale. The result is. The best coffee machine without any bells and whistles as long as you know what you are doing. You can make any kind of espresso of your like of the roast. You control what you want manually, other than relay on the program of gaggiuino. I'm the old man, and in my retirement age I do prefer brew my coffee manually, because it make my pleasure to do so. This is my opinion but of course other people may think different. I watched the video, and I'm delightful of the new trend.

I own the OWC hub and I'll get the cable matters adapter for my M2 Pro MacBook Pro 14 while connected to the LG C2 42 inch tv, Does this combo guarantee a solid 4k 120hz on Mac or do I need extra updates for the adapter to work properly? I know this was an issue for M1 MacBooks, but my 14 inch M2 Pro already supports the 4k 120hz standard via built in HDMI port, but I want everything to be connected to the OWC hub.

Ok, some confusion because of quick camera movements. I could only make out the Red and White wires in this video, but couldn't see what the other 2 colors were.The wire colors on my scale are Red (V+) White (S+) Blue (S-) and Yellow (V-). The HX711 Board has Red (E+) Black (E-) White (A-) Green (A+). I'm trying to translate this to my scale build. What do you make of this discrepancy?

If I get the latest pcb kit do I need to do anything else like springs pid scales water sensors.....

What the heck is this? Is this mod documented somewhere? Sounds terrible but an auto dosing would be an awesome project to look into.

another thing we dont talk about much is patents . alot of new companies try to patent new inovations making it hard to have one premium machine with all the best features unless you make it yourself by modding. open source fights against that .
