Your Cousin Bradley: new years eve, stir it up
My new favorite song, love it! 🎸🤘
Thinking about buying a spare head to do this to. I really like the helmet but I'm not fond of the hair
Thank you for this, was thinking of doing the same and wanted to know what it would look like. Did you actually cut it? I read some people discussing boiling it and being able to remove the hair, not sure if that would actually work.
I just cut it off with an exato
@@jpvxray cool, thank you!
The head is molded in 3 colors, Skin, Red, and Gray, that one being the hair; you need to cut it since the ball joint connects to the hair piece, removing the hair piece would make the head useless
Theoretically, you could remove the head by boiling it to soften the glue. I want to paint his face black for a sinister look. Then you could also have him holding just the helmet too.
Awesome idea. Thanks
Nifty set up man!
Thanks!
i also have one of these. Not my first Guild but my first P90 guitar. Mine is a Corona as well. My only grip is that my bridge is notched for maximum string spacing so the two Es actually miss the polepieces. I might get another and renotch it
Fun. Enjoyed Please Please Me. What's the pickup hum like on these P90s?
Stephen Feldman The pickups don't have any more hum than my stratocaster with texas specials.
I would second it's not bad at all. it's also hum cancelling in the middle
Great job m8. I liked the singing. I want to sing this song but every cover with someone singing sounds phenomenal. Yours sounds real. Like how abnormal person would sing it. Don't take it in a bad way. I prefer the normal voice.I'm guessing that's how I'd sound.
I own one too . . 2001 w/ P90's. Bought on CRAIGS about 8y ago from the orig owner and it is amazing. It is very underrated and under appreciated, but then ask Neil Giraldo (pat benetar's guitarist) how much he likes his Starfire III. He supposedly owns 5 of them. The P90 Starfires were seemingly made with great care. Aside from perfect Fit/Finish, they are true players. . . and remember these guitars are true Archtops (no CenterBlock). Mine was one of the last to come outta the Westerley Factory, their final gasping attempt at producing amazing instruments before the Corona move . . my Headstock is the Traditional width. The Newark Starfires are very good spinoff, but they are different than the Starfires of Late 90's Early 2000's. My local music shop (Woodsey's in Medina Ohio) currently has 2-Newarks on display and despite their Coolness and playability . . . the Newarks seem cheaper almost toy-like with a VERY funky smaller sized Humbucker's. . . . maybe they mirror the Starfire III's of the 60's . . I don't know, but they ARE NOT the guitar you have at all. . . Personally I am a Biggger guy, so I like the later Version of this guitar. Supposedly the Corona Starfire III's arrived at the factory in CA in pieces parts. ALL if the Guitar Body's were infact Built in Westerly and moved to CA when the Corona facility became avail. I was talking with a very reputable guitar Tech in RI named ZACH who owns a shop "FRETS" in Westerly. He is very knowledgable re the Starfires. You have an awesome guitar . . do not ever sell it :)
John Tomczak Cool information. I agree that the quality of the Corona guild guitars is on par with westerly. I also have a westerly starfire iv that I love just as much as this one.
yes, the Newarks are designed to mimic the classic Starfires. The later ones made in Westerly and then Corona had different pickups, body shape, headstock, were heavier - lots of stuff
Awesome job, man! I really like your playing as well as your voice. Sounds great!
amazing! you always perform in solitude or do you as well play alongside additional friends? f.y.i.. I routinely love playing piano and play tracks at multitrack cooperations in band-hub, would you like to perform together at bandhub =)
Very nice :-)
