My brothers ram mount failed as well at highway speeds on his goldwing. He never got his phone back. Luckily the phone projectile did not hit another vehicle or anything.
@@jackiehorn3724 it been working fine it think I didn't mount it all the way in or one of the rubber pegs was loose

OMG your roads look so smooth compared to mine in New Zealand. Nice cruisy ride though looking at your phone holder you might need a quadlock holder or you might be catching it again 😊Keep ripping that Ryker 👍

Highway trips are a blast, my longest trip was up to Berlin NH 3.5 hr trip each way it was amazing

@@kort7903 thanks for watching - the speaker did work well around town probably under 40mph. Anything more it will not be load enough.. better off just using helmet.

Ryker owner here.... Just try not to have a death grip on the handlebars, that helps. If you haven't already get the aftermarket end links for the sway bar, that also helps quite a bit and it's cheap. Enjoy the ride and be safe!

You get use to ride on the hwy... stay in your lane and just follow the flow .....I just did 400 miles on the hwy on a trip and more you ride more you get use to it ........Alain & Yellow

What base plate number you use for the Mecanik M2
It's the vortex venom plate. #01 I think.
It's cool that it comes with a dust cover. It looks nice. It would have been cool if the battery tray was on the side and not the bottom of the sight.

Thanks for the video. Question: that particular Mecanik red dot when you adjust height does it (screw) makes clicks every turn? Mine doesn’t and not sure if I’m doing it wrong. And has no any marks/scale as a reference point. And, my Canik Rival-S started jamming/ fail to eject 115gr ammo after installing that red dot.

Just a suggestion. Spend $10 for a 9mm laser bore sighted. Get your windage right on. Determine your point of aim vs your point of impact at a specific yardage. Visit a range and fine tune your elevation to your desire distance. My Holosuns are factory zeroed at roughly 25 yards but my personal carry gun is zeroed at 15 yards , which is plenty.

Cuts out the part where battery is installed underneath, means you must remove it to change battery and head to the range again to sight it in again & again.
battery lasts 6 years on lowest setting and just buy a boresight laser make ur life easier
Just like the $700 Trijicon RMR. That is NOT a deal breaker. Plus he showed the battery compartment on the bottom.

it's supposed to be an instructional video on how to zero the red dot but I could not make anything out of it mainly due to crooked camera angles and secondly you could have explained about the red dot on what to do for any newbies like me to properly zero it and then showed a proper procedure on video. Anyways it was a good try.
Those numbers on back of sight seem like they’re in a terrible position!

Soooo....how does it compare to say the shield brand factory red dot? I have a elite sc that I was looking around for something that's decent quality on a budget with a slightly bigger viewing window.
This RDS is specifically made for competition. It does have to auto adjust or shake wake. I personally have not used the shield. But the window and dot is very clear and target acquisition is easy. Thanks for the question.
I was pretty much sold on getting a Shield SMSc for my Shield Plus Optics version until I just found this site…. I’m hearing some say it will fit without a plate adapter, so if it doesn’t I guess I’ll ship it back! And I also want to know if it’ll cowitness completely or 1/3 etc! Seems like a decent sight
