He's dead that time line doesn't exist anymore kuai is scorpion now and the most respectful thing they did was make his best friend carry the mantle. NRS/WB have made a lot of bad decisions, and because of their incompetence, fans who bought the game are pretty much suckers who wasted their money for nothing. Broken promises, gender swaps just for the sake of gender swaps, and just lackluster content and polish across the board. Even like you said, MK used to try to piss off the Policial Correct crowd back in the 90's. Now they just cater to them. Which surprise, those same folks didn't even support the game lol. Talk about not knowing their own audience... smfh It just saddens me they had to rush the game to make a quick buck. Mortal Kombat deserved better than this.

Then by MK11, it became apparent that WB wanted more restrictions with terrible story directions, gameplay ideas and DLC/DRM. MK1 is just the Aftermath of that evolution, boiling it down to *"Just Sell crap, the fanatics will eat it up"* . Which unfortunately, most did. Going to your point about lack of ownership, it's no coincidence they keep tossing guest characters who have limited license usage. Case and point Freddy Kruger from MK9, resulting in that game getting De-Listed. Top it off with the whole *"Microsoft buys out Activision"* fiasco, where every youtube shill kept touting *"its benefits gamers"* when in reality it benefits NO ONE. But those users were all paid off, so they'll blatantly lie to viewers just to get free handouts. The whole system is corrupt. I never bought MK1, and honestly I see no reason to ever touch it. To the bloated file size it has reaching over 100gbs, to the baffling issues and ideas that hold it back are just inexcusable. And for some to say *"it's the best MK"* I'm sorry but they're just delusional. Or, they simply refuse to accept they might have wasted their money, so they're gaslighting themselves into liking it. Which is where you get brainless responses such as *"u just a hater."* And other vapid replies. A toxic form of Buyers Remorse. Then, theres the new trend of *"Pre Order to play as X"* chopping off a character who's already in the game, yet apperently *nobody* had an issue with it. I've said it since MKX Goro, if Capcom does shit like that, people bitch and moan, oh but when NRS does it *to our face* , it's fine? The blatant hypocrisy is what really annoys me about the fgc these days. As well influencers who encourage this shit. @@stillslick7964 Im not wrong, because the last match i saw he was getting his ass handed to him, and magically the other player started acting stupid.. to give him the win and it seemed very fake on how he won, let me remind you he's gotten his add beat by many other people when not in a tournament setting, and he's only mostly won in nrs titles and not always a garantee in first place.. i've already seen the data and that also doesn't mean i can' talk shit on the clown for being a clown. dudes always switching games and i got behind scenes information from another pro player who can confirm every time hes having issues in a game he goes and runs to another game.. which is why he stopped playing fighter z and got destroyed in tekken.. and other fighting games.. and from my understanding there might be some foul play in NRS based games where he's usually fighting the same people.. cause the scene has some issues with forging fights rather than them being natural.. which is lame. ultimately thought winning a game doesnt make you automatically right and it also doesnt mean people can't criticize you.

When I said woke or dei its not just the messaging it's also the sudden changes into things, you can't tell me with the current gen technology these people who have been working on games for years suddendly cant do their jobs right.. this was a clear push for dei because just look at tanya from mk1.. you have a black woman is attractive yet in game she looks like shes angry and stereo typical and ugly.. its not hard to model over her face and fix alot of the issues.. in alot of the female faces.. yet even when faced with realism asian games dont have this issue.

@@lost-in-thought123 It is the case with this game, which is why im pointing it out, dei elements can be present in different aspects.. by this i mean it could be slightly dei moderate dei, intense dei and finally a woke fest.. so there are levels of dei stuff in this game when it comes to female designs.. thats obvious with the female designs.. that look pretty much shit.. compared to the original game anyone with half a braincell can figure out that much but its fine if you dont see it.

@@InfiniteXSeeker I do 3d modeling and I can see what they have done. That being they have used scans of the voice actors to help with realism and making it easier to do realistic animations. Doing anything else is a pain and time consuming. Meaning it would cost more and elevates the budget. Now also if you look at bloobers past work when it comes to character design it's not that great. So if they go with the voice actors face models it stops this being a issue. Plus they haven't edited or altered it as its a 1 to 1 face model. All in all you a wrong about this game and if you look at my first post I've have more examples for you for the most likely reasons to their choices.
