A very valid point, but as our elected officials they have been given a responsibility, because we as a whole, cannot govern the decisions being made. We rely on them to be our leaders by and through a responsible representation of 'our' best interests. They are not "leaders" but they are called to be our representatives and lead us to becoming a better people on the whole.

It's awesome. Arrived back in Canberra the other day from Launceston. A bus every fifteen minutes from the airport meant no waiting, then a 50m walk to the Alinga St station to a waiting tram. Twenty five minutes later I'm back home in Gungahlin. Apart from the tram being packed, it was peak hour, it was a great ride home.

Rumour has it that he was on the toilet for a week after this.
